AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 2.4 GHz Socket AM2 89W Processor - ADA4600CUBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 2.4 GHz Socket AM2 89W Processor - ADA4600CUBOX

Pros: Blazing fast 2 X 2.4Ghz Awwww...Yessss. Socket AM2 dropped right into my foxconn 590SLI board with no force (Like it should) Plays all games with not so much as a pause.

Cons: Cant think of any other than the 2 X 512Kb L2 Cache rather than the 2 X 1Mb Cache but like others have said this is AMD's new standard for lower end CPUs

Overall Review: Rig- Foxconn C51WEM2AA 590 SLI board, 2 Gigs of Corssair DDR2 675 C4 Ram, This CPU, a Nspire 600 Watt PSU, and 2 X XFX 7950GTs in SLI all in a NZXT Apollo Case.......Im in heaven

Acer Desktop PC Aspire AST180-UA380B 3800+ (2.00 GHz) 1GB DDR2 160GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Windows Vista Home Basic
Acer Desktop PC Aspire AST180-UA380B 3800+ (2.00 GHz) 1GB DDR2 160GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Windows Vista Home Basic

Pros: Easily upgradeable, support for 4GB of Memory, decent HDD, quiet case, decent amount of ports, and expansion slots.

Cons: stock processor sucks, 1GB of ram is weak, and Vista Basic!!! WHY!!!!

Overall Review: Upgraded processor to a Athlon 64X2 4600+, and 3GB of ram (2X1 GB kit plus the original 512X2 kit that was in it) and threw vista Ultimate 64 bit on it and now the machine flys!!!!!! Definately recommended if you dont mind throwing another 300 into it for the upgrades mentioned. for the 600 I paid for this Absoluetly awesome!!!!

DANG.................

EVGA GeForce 6800GS 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card 256-P2-N386-RX

Pros: Card Came in a brown box that said EVGA needless to say my expectations were low. opened the box to find everything included. indvidually wrapped and neatly organized. i popped it in and and overclocked with cool bits to 455/2.05 blew away the 6800gt I had (It fried!) definately recomend

Cons: only thing it didnt come with was the EVGA case stickers :(

Overall Review: buying another one next paycheck!!!

Ok for the most part

VANTEC Model SPK-08UV-BL BLUE UV PCI/RAM Slot Protector Kit
VANTEC Model SPK-08UV-BL BLUE UV PCI/RAM Slot Protector Kit

Pros: Fits into PCI and DDR1/DDR2 Slots excellently it is UV reactive

Cons: The Uv reactive part is kinda dull you have to have BRIGHT UV lights in order for these things to really glow.

Overall Review: Wish they came PCI-E X 1, and PCI-E X 16 slot covers too.

The good and the bad

Foxconn C51XEM2AA- 8EKRS2H AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard
Foxconn C51XEM2AA- 8EKRS2H AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Good Layout (for the most part) had no problems with my Socket AM2 X2 4600+ or My Corsair 2 X 1024Mb 675Mhz C4 DDR2

Cons: IDE header did not work out of box. (tried 3 different drives and 2 different cables) Only one IDE header so I had to buy a SATA to IDE adpter to install Windows. Only one Case Fan Header, and the Southbridge fan is in an awkward place behind the primary PCI-E Slot

Overall Review: Overall pretty good Im guessing I just got a bad board as far as the IDE header goes but other than that seems to be a pretty good board.
