Pretty decent

PHILIPS 109B65/27 Black 19" CRT Monitor 0.25mm Dot Pitch D-Sub
PHILIPS 109B65/27 Black 19" CRT Monitor 0.25mm Dot Pitch D-Sub

Pros: usable at 1600x1200/70Hz! and runs at only 88kHz with 70Hz refresh which is well within it's upper 98kHz rate

Cons: maybe i got a poor one, but mine has got some annoying minor problems OTOH, i'm keeping this one. :)

Overall Review: given the current precipitous drop in volume sales of CRT monitors, buy a 19" or 22" monitor NOW! the 19 inchers are still the better deal (vs. the bigger/heavier 22" CRTs), and still cheaper than the LCD monitors, and not that much less inconvenient (weight, size, power) compared to comparable LCD monitors

Niggling Problems!

Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical 1.1A - White
Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical 1.1A - White

Pros: I agree with a lot of what others have said about this mouse.

Cons: The feet stick no matter what surface or mouse pad you use. The s/w acceleration is not fast enough. The mouse is too small if you even only have a large hand.

Overall Review: I expected *more* from M.S. for the simple reason that they've been in the mouse biz for a long time.

Still a great mouse

Kensington Ci20 Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB or PS/2 Wired Diamondeye Optical Mouse
Kensington Ci20 Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB or PS/2 Wired Diamondeye Optical Mouse

Pros: Essentially the same mouse as the Kensington PilotMouse Optical Pro (still going strong) that I got from Newegg about 9 months ago and a little cheaper too. The side/thumb buttons on this current mouse are a bit easier to press than the old mouse, which is a real plus since I use them. The already installed software (for Win XP) works without a hitch.

Cons: The two main buttons are a tad harder to press; took me a day to get used to it.

Overall Review: This is a LARGE mouse! I'm still curious as to why Newegg was out of stock for 9 months? Worth the aggrevation of a long wait. "clickity" button sound and 3 star rating is a cheap shot (by previous person).

"Out of Stock"???

Kensington Ci20 Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB or PS/2 Wired Diamondeye Optical Mouse
Kensington Ci20 Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB or PS/2 Wired Diamondeye Optical Mouse

Pros: I got this mouse about 7/8/9 months ago...

Cons: ... and since then i've been trying to buy at least two more...

Overall Review: ... to no avail i'm at a complete loss as to what is going on with this mouse

Very very good!

GIGABYTE GeForce 7900GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card GV-NX79T256DP-RH-ED
GIGABYTE GeForce 7900GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card GV-NX79T256DP-RH-ED

Pros: I was easily able to get it OC'd slightly higher than the recent past poster. :) (with a better cooler; see below) The included Zalman cooler is decent but you can do better. I replaced it with a Zalman VF900Cu, which fits perfectly. I used the decent stock cooler on another video board of mine. :)

Cons: None really. Better cooling is the heart to successful OC'ing. On the other hand, OC'ing tends to invalidate your warranty. :(

Overall Review: Be very careful if/when you pry off the stock cooler because the compound used (by Gigabyte) is very sticky! Once I got it (heatsink) off, I used many cotton swabs with iso alcohol to remove the residue.

Doggone Good!

3ware 8006-2LP PCI 64-bit SATA 2-port SATA RAID Controller - Kit
3ware 8006-2LP PCI 64-bit SATA 2-port SATA RAID Controller - Kit

Pros: Works very well in Win XP Pro with an old Tyan S2875 AMD mobo with an AMD 8111 n/s bridge. The extra pins simply hang into open space

Cons: None really. Call up 3Ware on their 800 support number (877?) to confirm that it works with your mobo. Their support people are the best in my own personal experience!

Overall Review: The lousy Silicon Image 3114 raid chip (and especially the s/w) on my Tyan S2875 mobo was driving me nuts. This solved it. :)
