HBS-700

LG Behind-The-Neck Stereo Bluetooth Headset w/ Music Streaming/ Call Waiting Support (HBS-700)
LG Behind-The-Neck Stereo Bluetooth Headset w/ Music Streaming/ Call Waiting Support (HBS-700)

Pros: Price / features Around the neck & out of the way Small earbuds Play/Pause, Next/Previous, Enhanced music (EQ) Multi Point connect when a call comes in it rings AND vibrates 10 hours music play Micro USB connect. (just like my phone so I don't need more chargers laying around)

Cons: Multi point (i know it is a pro also) but in the small writting you find out that they will only connect to one Sterio A2DP profile at one time. which means you can connect it to your phone as a headset (for calls) AND connect it to your Computer to listen to music, or vis-versa. if this seems confusing, just look up the documentation online and review the Multi-Point connect section. I wish it would play the ring tone through the headset when a call comes in but that may be because of my phone not the headset.

Overall Review: I like that I'm able to place the whole thing under my shirt collar and it's hidden, the fact that the earbuds are magnetized to the headset is also nice so they don't just flop around when you take it off. The sound is very acceptable and can be improved with turning on the EQ or Music Enhancement part of the headphones as well as, or instead of, enhancing it from the device your connected to. the volume seems to be quite decent and can go high enough to hurt my ears. I've been told calls are clear and haven't had any issues with someone not beeing able to hear me even with it tucked under my collar.

Logitech Z213 (nice on a budget)

Logitech Z213 (980-000941) 7 Watts (RMS) / 14 Watts peak 2.1 Speakers
Logitech Z213 (980-000941) 7 Watts (RMS) / 14 Watts peak 2.1 Speakers

Pros: Great sound reproduction (see other thoughts) Remote w/ on/off, headphone jack and volume Powered sub that runs all speakers and has sub volume control.

Cons: Somewhat short cords Sub not low enough (see other thoughts)

Overall Review: These are great little speakers for their price point, hence the 4 stars. MOST speakers on newegg give you the frequency response in the specifications section, Logitech does not!! you will need to look up the response on the Logitech site. Be warned the sub, while crisp, only goes to 65hz if you have music or movies that have real lows this sub will not get there and the media will sound dead without it. if you like the lows that come with your media (and a LOT of media comes with it these days) I would recommend looking for something that goes down to 30hz at a minimum. Come on Logitech! you could have easily put a 4" sub that goes to 30hz and only add a few $ to the cost. and then this set would have been perfect.

Works in Sony Tablet

SAMSUNG Pro 64GB microSDXC Flash Card Model MB-MGCGB/AM
SAMSUNG Pro 64GB microSDXC Flash Card Model MB-MGCGB/AM

Pros: 64 GB SDXC - (USB3) Works in Tablet w/o re-formatting.

Cons: It doesn't fix dinner..

Overall Review: Purchased this for a Sony Xperia Z Tablet. I couldn't find anything at the Sony site that said the tablet would handle a 64 GB sdxc card, Did find specs on other sites specifying the tablet would handle up to 64GB. Found threads on forums around the web saying 64 GB would work but may need to be re-formatted.. UGH!! Needless to say it works great without re-formatting AND gets transfer speeds specified for this SDXC card.

Great Little Device

UtechSmart USB 3.0 Superspeed Multi-in-1 4-Slot Memory Card Reader for UHS-I SD, SDXC, SDHC, SD, CF, High-Speed CF (UDMA), MS, M2, Micro SDXC, Micro SDHC, Micro SD Cards
UtechSmart USB 3.0 Superspeed Multi-in-1 4-Slot Memory Card Reader for UHS-I SD, SDXC, SDHC, SD, CF, High-Speed CF (UDMA), MS, M2, Micro SDXC, Micro SDHC, Micro SD Cards

Pros: Small and well made. Integrated Cable USB3 (yes, you get real USB3 speeds with the right memory card)

Cons: Integrated Cable is a little short, no eggs off for that since I knew that going in.

Overall Review: I wanted the integrated cable so I wouldn't have to keep up with it while transporting this device, plus some of the other external devices had bad reviews with cables losing connectivity and such.. I purchased it with a 3 foot USB3 extension cable that gets it to my desktop and still gets USB3 speeds. so far I've only tested it with SDXC and Micro SDXC and both get USB3 read/writes as specified by the memory manufacturer. Get it !!

Nice HTPC Case

APEVIA Black / Silver SECC Steel / Aluminum X-MASTER-AL/500 ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
APEVIA Black / Silver SECC Steel / Aluminum X-MASTER-AL/500 ATX Media Center / HTPC Case

Pros: Room for full ATX Mobo. with full height video card. 2 - 5.25 Drive bays areas for additional fans. comes w/ a 500w power supply Solid Construction with nice gloss paint. Easy to get your stuff in and out of. (considering its an HTPC Case) see Other Thoughts. Pleanty of areas to get air through the case. Fans an PSU are pretty quiet

Cons: The paint chips easily. (just be carefull) my parts bag was 2 stand offs and 2 screws short for mounting a full ATX mobo. (wierd, I would have included to many parts) The blue power light is "the surface of the sun" bright. (just like everyone else says)

Overall Review: This really is a great case for the price. and since i used spare parts from "older" computers the ability to put in components from "mid tower" cases is very handy. I was fully expecting to have to pull the entire case apart ot get everything in there but to my suprise i didn't have to, just the top, bottom and front had to come off and that was enough access to do everything. now don't get me wrong it's tight but it all works. The ability to get air through it is nice since i didn't go buy all new "quiet" components.

Good Drive

CORSAIR Voyager 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model CMFUSB2.0-16GB
CORSAIR Voyager 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model CMFUSB2.0-16GB

Pros: Solid Construction 16 Gigs Reasonably fast (I don't have a problem w/ it) Great Price/Performance Ratio. Huge fat lanyard - you wont be losing this baby.

Cons: A little slower then the 4 gig models (other manufacturers) i have - expected since the larger the drive the more time it takes to get stuff on and off the thing. (as stated, I don't have a problem w/ it)

Overall Review: not cons hence i'll put them here. Kinda fat may have a problem fitting it in with another device - iv'e never had a problem but i have usb ports everywhere. Cap is loose, so it "could" get lost.
