Pretty nice

ASUS 27" 1440P Eye Care Monitor (PB278Q) - QHD (2560 x 1440), IPS, DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI
ASUS 27" 1440P Eye Care Monitor (PB278Q) - QHD (2560 x 1440), IPS, DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI

Pros: Crisp and bright. For once the stock stand is solid while still being adjustable...and is really easy to put together. Every cord you could possibly need is included..and to me that means something. Zero dead pixels.

Cons: Colors out of the box are a little wonky. Also there is back light bleed in the lower right hand corner. Instructions are pretty vague...and the menu for the monitor could be streamlined for better use.

Overall Review: All in all..this is a great monitor. I took off a single egg due to the back light bleed...wacky colors out of the box and limited instructions sent with this product.

update on this card

GIGABYTE GV-N780GHZ-3GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card
GIGABYTE GV-N780GHZ-3GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: I had this card for a few months and it worked well.

Cons: Where do I even begin. After 3 months this card started artifacting green lines after prolonged use...generally after 2-3 hours of solid gaming. I tried down-clocking...turning up the fans...adjusted various settings to no avail. No matter what I did the same green lines would appear. The RMA process is awful, After I paid my own money to have the card sent out...they "tested" it and sent it back without my approval nor working on the card itself. So I checked it out myself and what do you know...the same artifacts after normal gaming use. I called them again..and at least this time they offered to pay for shipping. I have been getting the run around by this company now for 2 straight months. This has been a expensive...time consuming...annoying experience. So I am waiting on a 2nd RMA...since I can not go 2 months without gaming...I was forced to buy another card. Now I am stuck with this sub-standard 500 dollar paper weight. No card that is this expensive should be giving me this many problems...nor should the RMA process be a large waste of time and money. I am so frustrated with gigabyte I will probably never buy anything from them again...at the very least gigabyte video cards.

Overall Review: If gigabyte would have been cool and honored the first RMA request in a timely and orderly fashion instead of having me waste money and time on sending it out yet again defective I would not be nearly as upset. Deplorable customer service and quality control.

Pretty sharp

ROCCAT Ryos MK Glow USB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
ROCCAT Ryos MK Glow USB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Pros: Very heavy so it does not slide around on the desk at all. Even during intense gaming this guy will not budge, which to me is a great thing. I personally think cherry blacks are the best for gaming. I tried the red and found them way to sensitive..and I came to the conclusion I have big hands and thus I am a heavy typist. Blacks are perfect for me. Plenty of options and no buggy behavior.

Cons: You have to go online to download the driver to fully get this keyboard to work. Also right out of the box the "caps lock" button does not function...it is change to some other hotkey used for macros and such. So basically you have to get the driver off the website to have a normally functioning keyboard. That does not sit well with me. Also once you get the driver and start using the software..it is confusing as hell and there are no instructions. you literally just have to figure it out through trial and error. I eventually got the hang of it..however I probably spent over 2 hours sorting it all out if not more.

Overall Review: Despite the flaws and the 4 eggs I really like this keyboard. For all around use it is perfect for my needs.

Not bad..def not great.

Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Red LED - Cherry MX Red Switches
Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Red LED - Cherry MX Red Switches

Pros: It looks nice and feels fine to type with. Basically "plug and play". Build quality seems to be there. Will not slide around on your desk much due to its sturdy weight.

Cons: This board has bad "key chattering" where it will type double letters during normal usage. Fforr exxampple like thiss. I have to double check everything I type to make sure this does not happen. Also there was a issue where the letter "A" would not work on some webpages. I switched the bios switch to another setting and it seemed to fix that issue.

Overall Review: This keyboards chattering seems to be going down as it gets more use. Also the instructions where very vague...what exactly do these bios switches do? Which bios setting should be used for win 7? Or vista? Well it does not say. Since this keyboard has bad chattering and very limited instructions, I have to deduct 2 eggs. I think the chattering will subside more or less as the board gets more use. Not 100% positive however.

Nice board...mouse is ok

AULA SHZ Blue Backlight LED Illuminated PC Gaming keyboard and Mouse 2000 dpi Combo USB Wired
AULA SHZ Blue Backlight LED Illuminated PC Gaming keyboard and Mouse 2000 dpi Combo USB Wired

Pros: It works. 3 different light settings for the keyboard glow. it has volume controls and such...but you must read the manual to figure out how to use the function keys correctly. Obviously the instructions where pretty unclear...however through trial and error it can be figured out.

Cons: The mouse just seems odd. Also there was no way at all to track this product...I had no idea when it was going to arrive...and however delivered it left it on the porch without knocking. I do not exactly live in the most trust worthy area of town.....

Overall Review: It works...the lighting is bright...no complaints about the functionality. The instructions are vague...and the lack of tracking and the random leaving the product on my porch is a little disconcerting.

Pretty awful for gaming

ViewSonic 27" LCD Monitor 3.40 ms D-Sub, DVI VA2703-LED
ViewSonic 27" LCD Monitor 3.40 ms D-Sub, DVI VA2703-LED

Pros: For streaming movies...blue ray playback ect...this is top notch really. Looks really nice for that particular use. Good color and brightness right out of the box.

Cons: I tried this monitor for gaming..and the 1920 x 1020 resolution on this just looks muddled..and not attractive visually. Also there was a slight off kilter pixels torwards the middle of the screen....where pixels just looked off. There was no way to adjust this monitor as far as positioning goes.

Overall Review: I tried really hard to like this monitor. Its price is right...but some glaring issues that was hard to ignore.
