A good monitor, but not for gaming
Pros: At 100 dollars it is worth it, but only if you are going to be using it for basic stuff (internet browsing, typing). Great for L4d2, because it lets survivors see in the dark too well. 1080p is nice, and was the selling point for me. No dead pixels. Manufactured in April 2011
Cons: Most full screen applications (games) just don't have vibrant enough colors on this monitor. Do not use this monitor for HD picture editing or drawing, the colors just aren't vibrant enough. (Of course for serious artists, I would recommend a 1.07 billion display color monitor. expensive unless you wait for 2 more years;) The monitor has bad viewing angles. I don't mean it negatives the pixels from side under viewing angles; Instead the monitor has a bad white out effect if you look at it from any angle, as if there is too much backlight bleeding through between the pixels (this backlight effect is a little more noticable towards the bottom of the screen. The chunky bezel is protuberant out from the screen surface, by about a third of an inch.
Overall Review: This monitor is very wide for it's height. It looks like 16:9. The button layout below the bottom bezel is aggravating; you will end up turning off the monitor half a dozen times when you are tweaking image settings. Image tweaking is a must with this monitor. If you just let the monitor auto adjust the image, it will look horrible. My cons should not stop you for getting this sizable monitor for under a hundred bucks. At 110... Eh?
ughh, broken!
Pros: Cool LEDs that fade between colors. Nice scroll wheel that is very firm. Feels silky against the palm
Cons: No right clicker in the mouse. It must be a factory defect and I don't think it is worth the cost of return shipping to get another one. oddly enough, it is registering when I push down on the right mouse button, but it does nothing and there is the absence of that little clicky noise.
Overall Review: I think I will try another of these because of the great sensitivity on most flat surfaces and patterns.
For large fingered and less than dextrous typers.
Pros: I am a professional writer, and I am sick of this keyboard getting bad reviews JUST because people don't like the feel of the keys. I am cursed with overly large, clumsy fingers, and this keyboard is the answer. I have been pounding away with two fingers at this board for over a year now, and it has yet to break down even a single key. That's after an estimated five million keystrokes! Heck, the letter paint hasn't even faded! And if I'm in the mood for gaming, I love how closely the arrow keys are integrated with the right Ctrl and shift keys! Heavy duty design; no wasted space.
Cons: Now every other keyboard I try feels chintzy and the keys squishy. I've been spoiled by perfection.
Overall Review: I need to stockpile these for future years; in case they stop making them.
Argh!!!
Pros: Read my earlier review for any positives.
Cons: The first drive started blue screening, freezing on the desktop, and having trouble being recognized on post, and after only three months! I sent it in for a replacement, and now the new one the sent me has lasted only two and a half months! Oddly enough, when it gets so bad that it won't even start, and I jiggle the power and SATA cables around, it will work good for about a day. After a week or two of it crashes completely, which means I at least have plenty of time to get my files copied off of it.
Overall Review: I am going to try getting a SATA III cable. Maybe it will help the next drive from Kingston replacement last a little longer. Worth a try. These drives had the latest firmware.
Works fine
Pros: It is nice to use this instead of the main oven. The door is nice and easy to open, and seals good when closed.
Cons: The timing knob is not very easy to read when setting, so my mother always burns her toast. I am not really sure if the "convection" fan really does anything. I guess since the oven evenly cooks things, that it circulates the air good enough. It is kind of loud though
Overall Review: Make sure when you first get it to broil both the inserts outdoors for fifteen minutes, as there is a factory residue that you must initially cook to get rid of. I had a wooden knife block on top of the oven, which worked fine until somebody turned on the oven for a ten minute broil. No fire occurred but the bottom was blackened by the ovens heat output.
Sturdy, holds two drives
Pros: Perfect for dual SSDs. Spend the extra five bucks. It is much higher quality than any cheaper item you might be able to find on Newegg (Rosewill).
Cons: None
