near perfection
Pros: Minimalist exterior design (a huge pro, if that's your thing), generally thougtful design (in both form and function) inside and out, and effective noise dampening and dust filtering without anything excessive. The description, specs, and pictures here on Newegg deliver more specifics, but this thing is generally a joy to have and to muck around in.
Cons: It has no gamecube-handle for easy transport to LAN parties...? More seriously, it's often deemed too big by the non-enthusiast crowd, and that may also be a consideration for LAN partiers and other enthusiasts. Fortunately, Antec and possibly others have some good alternatives. The only other one I've used is the discontinued (?) mini P180, which has some vent hole things on its front panel but is a miniature P180 in every other sense. My only personal beef with this case is the vent guard up top. It looks okay but sticks up, somewhat diminishing the minimalist look, though it's also a nice accent. It can be removed if desired, but then it looks a little odd since the vent is slightly recessed. Ideally, I would replace the guard with a panel flush with the top of the case that leaves the wide-holed fan grill exposed. This is a very small beef, though.
Overall Review: I found this case about three years ago at Silent PC Review, and I still haven't seen anything better for my current needs and tastes. I'm pleased to see that Antec and Newegg are still selling it and a few more like it, such as the P280, another SPCR recommendation.
