Good Value Purchase
Pros: We purchased two sets of two (four speakers total) for our medical clinic. I have been VERY PLEASED at how well they work. We now have soft music playing for patients in the waiting room and in our exam rooms. Each speaker volume can be set independently, and since they run on AC power or batteries, we can put them high enough to be out of the reach of younger/children patients.
Cons: No real cons come to mind. I noticed that each speaker requires 6 "C" batteries if you don't want to use AC power. Seems like a lot of batteries for a single speaker but that may enable the speaker to play a long time between battery changes?
Doesn't work well with Cisco PBX
Pros: POE, Robust, Good Value if you don't need a Cisco VoIP System
Cons: Simply could not get this thing to work with the Cisco UC320 Voip PBX. After doing outside research I learned that I am one of many who had the same problem due to a VLAN issue with the Netgear Switch. Stay away from this switch if you plan on using a Cisco PBX/Voip Phone solution for your network.
