Great product for the money, easily compares to other name brand laptops costing several hundred more

Pros: Decently sized SSD which performs well (see other comments). Has an expansion spot in case for 2nd 2.5 inch device like a 2nd hard drive. Healthy amount of RAM. Full HD screen. All the important external ports you'd ever want.
Cons: Not the best touchpad. Kinda cheap plastic-y look (but feels pretty solid).
Overall Review: After using the laptop for about 2 months the SSD benched as follows using AS SSD Read SEQ 501 MB/s Read 4K Random 26 MB/s Read Access time .075 ms Write SEQ 250 MB/s Write 4K Random 74 MB/s Write Access time .225 ms This was just one sample, YMMV.
Loses connection frequently

Pros: Great design
Cons: Unreliable
Overall Review: Loses connection constantly. Have plugged in a USB Blu Ray Player and a USB external Hard Drive. Both had this problem. I was using a USB 2 foot extender cable because the 1 foot integrated cable was not long enough. Device may not be able to handle this. I know my extender cable is good because it works directly connected to a number of peripherals. Have not tested without the extender cable because I NEED the extender cable.
Generally good product but watch out for a few caveats

Pros: Generally does what it says and for a reasonable price. Otherwise hard to find that.
Cons: Doesn't support some resolution/refresh combos.
Overall Review: Unit does not support some lower refresh rates (<60) for non HD resolutions, like 1024x768. It also doesn't seem to support 4K screens either. This problem crops up because my video card seems to choose some of these resolutions during bootup (and it can't be changed or controlled) and therefore you can't seen anything if running the signal through this device. If, however, you make sure you use only 1080P screen hardware and then go into Windows and make sure you're not running lower resolutions at, say, 30P, you should be good to go.
Keyboard was broken and they probably knew about it

Pros: This is a great standard keyboard, and having it work with the unifying usb dongle is even better.
Cons: Price. You can get the same keyboard in non-unifying format WITH a mouse for $20. This keyboard alone is $30.
Overall Review: I am not recommending this company as they most likely purposely sold me a broken keyboard. I emailed them a comment that it was broken and they completely ignored me.
Do NOT buy

Pros: Can slip any 2.5 HD in without tools and go. Works like a charm (until...)
Cons: Not a robust connector - will break after extended use.
Overall Review: I purchased this unit from a Newegg competitor and absolutely loved it because it was cheap, toolless, and worked as advertised, that is, until the rear connector broke rendering it completely useless. And that was after about 4 months of usage. I would bring it into work every day, so it was unplugged and replugged twice daily. Over the last month I noticed that the drive would suddenly disappear from windows more and more. I discovered that this was because the rear connector housing was so flimsy that every day it became more detached from the circuit board to which it was soldered, until finally no connection could be made. This is not a defect they can fix unless the manufacturer spends more money to properly engineer the rear connector. Too bad, everything else about it rocks.
Works well ... but has USB 3.0 cable issues

Pros: Has handled everything I tried to use it for without issue.
Cons: The included cable is short (16") AND other USB cables do not fit in the type B port on the back of the unit correctly.
Overall Review: WARNING. 3rd party USB cables do not seem to work on this unit. The cable that comes with the unit fits properly in the unit's type B port, however, other USB cables I tried (and I tried 2 different ones) do not fit correcty in the port. There is a 1/8" flange around the port that blocks other cables from making a complete connection (as in the flange prevents the plug from inserting the last 1/8 of an inch). This renders 3rd party cables useless, and creates a big headache for people who need to replace the cable with a longer one (which--given the length of the supplied cable--will be MANY people, including myself). The solution is to buy an extended cable, so you can plug the included cable into the unit (as it's the only one that fits it seems) and then extend it to your computer.
