Tamron SP70-300mm DiVC

Pros: This is the BEST option for someone not wanting to invest a lot of $$ on a lens in this zoom range. It has excellent image quality. The VC works excellent for 300mm hand held shots.
Cons: Not a macro, but then again I did not purchase for that use.
Overall Review: I've owned 2 of the canon version of this lens & was extremely disappointed in them past 150mm. This Tamron that replaced my Canon lens simply blows them away in sharpness.
Asus dropped the ball on this one

Pros: None.
Cons: This Board is plagued. with problems. System takes a lot longer to boot . Reinstalled OS & drivers several times with same results. Usb ports not recognizing external drives that work fine on 4 other PCs . Says Drive does not exist or freezes up & when it does recognize drive transferer rates are extremely slow & do not complete. Paid 60.00 for shipping label on ASUS site to send in for repair. They sent a different board & it has the exact same issues. I've Used Asus boards on 14 builds in 16 year span & never had any issues. I will not be wasting 60 dollars on sending in 2nd board to Asus. I put a MSI board in the case & all works great. I will be dropping the Asus Rog Strix Z690-E in the garbage can.
Overall Review: If you don't like extremely slow boot times & need to use usb 3 ports look for other options.
VH238H is no VE228H

Pros: Has HDMI.
Cons: A few blue pixels. Contrast horrible & brightness weak.. colors poor even after adjusting monitor. Reviews were good so i thought I'd give it a try hoping it would be close to my other Asus monitor.
Overall Review: I have had a Asus VE228 For close to a year now. It still looks as good as the day it arrived. Exellent color, contrast & lighting. Thought the VH238H would be as good with the higher contrast But not to be.
