Pros: Runs solid on both, an an older LGA 775 board/cpu and a newer LGA 1150 board/cpu

Cons: One stick was DOA but NewEgg quickly replaced it.

Overall Review: I bought this three years ago for a computer with an Intel Core 2 Quad and a MSI G41 mobo. Since then I've upgraded the CPU to an Intel Core i7-4790 and the mobo with a ASRock z97 Pro3 and I actually came to here today to upgrade my RAM, but I figured I'd let you guys all know, that 3 years later, these 2 little 4 gig sticks still run solid and across two different mobos and CPU combos. Also, although I've upgraded main machine (i7, z97, 32gb ram), my old parts (Intel Core 2 Quad, MSI board and gskill 8gb ram) will certainly still be in service as another linux box, a personal file server or something, or maybe put together a mini network for pen testing, or maybe I'll give it to some kid who wants to learn to build computers and program. Not sure what yet, but the point is that I have an extra SOLID and RELIABLE computer I can depend on. Well that was interesting, I came here to tell you that this RAM was good after 3 years still, but this review kinda ended up being a cpu/mobo/ram combo review haha
