This review is from: Kingston DataTraveler 200 128GB USB2.0 Flash Drive Model DT200/128GB
Pros: Very High Capacity
Cons: Buy from a reputable dealer like Newegg!!!! Price....
Other Thoughts: Please be careful and buy only from reputable dealers like NewEgg. I purchased one at a garage sale for only $10. I was giddy with excitement all the way home until I started having problems transferring data. I checked the Internet and there tons of brand new fakes on Smeebaay and internet. Ran a flash drive test program called h2testw sure enough this is one of the fakes. Guess the seller go the last laugh.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Beautiful and fast with an awesome screen. Built in blootooth.
I use my laptop a lot on my desk with my ethernet instead of WiFi. so it was important to me that the power, Ethernet and at least one USB port was at the back of the laptop for that nice neat and clean look. This laptop filled that requirement.
Cons: Only hardware issue I have is with the built in speakers. They work but are way too quiet and don't have a nice rich sound like my old laptop. Recommend external speakers or head phones.
Had an issue with Windows update. It got hung up several times. Took about two hours to complete and then every time I shutdown the system or booted up over the next couple days it would say "Configuring System...". Obviously an isolated issue.
The hard drive partitions were not to my liking 60/40 I believe. I was only able to shrink the D drive and not expand the C drive.
Because of the last two issues I ended up using the recovery partition to reinstal Vista. This went without the previous hang-ups and repeated "Configuring System" issues and I was able to partition my hard drive the way I like.
Other Thoughts: The Pros far out weigh the Cons.
I know that 16x9 screens are the current trend but I miss my old 15.4" 4x3 screen especially when surfing. It's about the same width but I lost a good inch in height. I feel 16x9 is fine if you have a 22" monitor or larger but on a laptop I miss the real estate.
This Laptop would be perfect for me and I would have give the laptop 5 out of 5 eggs if the built in speaker sound was better, I didn't have the hang ups and if the screen was 4x3.
