Horrible

Pros: dont buy it
Cons: This is a VERY short lived unit. Pump broke after a few months, causing my PC to overheat and needing to be replaced.
Overall Review: I was using remote desktop to my PC and did not of the failure until I arrived home to find the computer motherboard and cpu damaged beyond repair.
HORRIBLE customer support for this item

Pros: This review is more about the support I received from the company for this motherboard, than its performance,as it only arrived a few days ago and all attempts at reaching support is unsuccessful. However customer support is part of making a purchase.
Cons: When trying to reach customer support I was met with a lot of run around, and told to call back another day because apparently only ONE person can help me.
Overall Review: The only way provided for reaching support, is met with an online form telling me they will get back to me. The response email a day later (to a simple correction) was to close my case and to tell me to contact 'Tom", with no phone number provided. When I attempted to email this person back, I received an 'out of office' reply to the email. Calling MSI, in the phone number shown in the email for reaching MSI, states to fill out the online form for support and wait for a reply. After calling MSI at another number for support and waiting on hold for almost 20 minutes I was told to call back a different day, then placed on hold, then told to try to email someone else. UPDATE--- I have now received another e-mail about my concern and inability to access the promotion offer, which apparently cannot be addressed here in the US; the email states the issues "are handled by HQ in Taiwan. So you need to wait for them to get back to you ". So I guess I will wait to see when i hear back from their headquarters office in 'Taiwan' about simply redeeming an offer for a digital game download as part of the purchase. There is also supposed to be an offer for a rebate with the purchase, a rebate I doubt I will ever see. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE-- buy a similar motherboard from another manufacturer if you will ever anticipate the need for any support.
still no reply from OEM

Pros: none due to failure and lack of support
Cons: It has now been a week and a half since I made my last comment, weeks since I contacted the manufacturer and they still refuse to return my calls to honor a refund THEY state goes with this card.
Overall Review: How can a company expect return customers, to stay in business, when its products break while under warranty, and when the customer reaches out to them for support, they refuse to even speak with the customer..
Company policy

Pros: See comments Below.
Cons: This review is not for this card, but more for the PowerColor version. I purchased the PowerColor HD6990 card through newegg in November 2011. The company has a 2 year warantee. My card is slightly over the 2 year warantee, and has only seen about a year of use due to my being in the military. So one year of actually using a $700+ video card and it just stops working for no aparent reason. The RMA at PowerColor was clear on the issue, if it's a day over the 2 year mark, its not covered. When asked if i could send it it to them and pay to have it fixed i was told, I could send it in to them, but they would not do repairs and if it wasnt a simple fix, I would have to pay to have it shipped back to me, still broken. I understand a company having a warantee on an item, and the implications, but there should also be a reasonableness to it. I paid over $700 on a card that I used for one year, then it dies and the company just washes its hands of it. That is NOT good customer service, nor standing behind a product. Its saying 'we lucked out and it died after the deadline, so tough luck to you".
Overall Review: Just be warned before you sepnd this much money on an item from PowerColor, if its one day past the 2 years, you just threw away the money. They will not even offer a way to keep a customer satisfied for return business. Sorry to be so negative, but a $700 loss for no reason, no misuse, it just failed to work, and the company saying 'oh well, go buy another' is not a company i would do business with again. Look at the other companies that will offer to at least try to assist, vs looking the other way. They are all roughly the same price, I would purchase one from a company that stands behind its product.
