Great Hard drive

Pros: tons of capacity Runs cool and quiet surprisingly fast and responsive Works exactly how a hard drive should variable RPM speed (IntelliPower) 6.0Gb/s data transfer speeds Very low power consumption
Cons: I suppose the only con that I can see would be the lack of information on exactly what speeds the IntelliPower can run on. I've read a few things stating that IntelliPower has a range of between 5000-5900RPM, kinda slow for today's standards
Overall Review: I was originally skeptical of Western Digital's new "IntelliPower" hard drives, but I must say after using and testing the harddrive's performance I am very happy with the results. Transfer rates are pretty typical of any mechanical hard drive, I moved 260GB of random data spanning everything from movies, to games, to document files and programs. The total time was just over an hour at an average speed of 54Mb/s, which I was completely satisfied with. This particular drive which is supposed to run slower than an 7200RPM hard drive was actually faster than my older Hitachi 1TB 7200RPM. The biggest difference being that my Hitachi is 3.0Gb/s transfer speed so it would appear that the faster transfer rate of the Western Digital does make a significant difference even if it's max RPM is 5900. All in all this has been a welcome addition to my PC and provides me with a very large capacity of storage space, and lets face it in these High definition, high resolution times more storage is a must for any PC.
Great Idea... didn't really deliver

Pros: Fairly inexpensive when you consider what it is supposed to do came with plenty of supplies and extras Instructions were very easy to read and implement has a convenient pouch for storage
Cons: poor sensitivity very laggy and unresponsive poor accuracy with touches
Overall Review: First I think the eFun Touch 8 is in theory a great concept and one, that with a little polish could really provide consumers with exactly what they need for a windows 8 laptop/pc that does not natively support a touch screen. the largest issue I encountered was the pen's slow response to my gestures and for whatever reason, no matter how many times I re-configured the touch pen the actual pen touches on the screen were often off-centered with the icons to open applications. So for example if I wanted to open Microsoft Office from the desktop app I would need to actually contact the screen with the pen slightly to the left of the icon usually not touching any of the icon itself, which was frustrating. I did not seem to encounter this issue while operating solely within the windows 8 start screen (formally known as metro). Also, I would be concerned with the overall impact this pen would have on the screen's durability over a long period of time. On several occasions in order for the device to recognize the pen touches I had to press on the screen with a little bit harder press than I am completely comfortable with, and I'm am not sure how the monitor will hold up seeing how they were not designed for anything to be touching the screen at all. The ePen does technically work, however it feels like slow, laggy and very unresponsive. So in conclusion, the idea is a great one, but in practical terms its very far from a functional laptop peripheral.
Good basic motherboard

Pros: works well, supports USB 3.0, with built in front panel header
Cons: This motherboard only carries 1-SATA 3.0/6GB/s port, which is located directly behind the only PCI-e 3.0 port..... so if you install a graphic card with even a minimal length you will have difficulty using this port with a SSD/HDD. The way around this problem is using a SATA cable that had one 90degree angle connector and one straight connector on the opposite side. Please be advised that this motherboard comes with two bright orange SATA cables, neither one has a 90degree angle connector. This seems like a huge over-site as a large majority of people building budge gaming rigs will be looking at this motherboard as it is very functional and performs as it needs to. however, the vast majority of gaming graphic cards are going to cover the SATA 3.0/6GB/s port
Seems ok

Pros: Standard CPU cooler, tower design affordable and functional Temps are with-in reason and will keep a stock CPU cool
Cons: I wished that it used a backplate design, the Intel pin system just doesn't feel solid and I did have to re-seat the heatsink once I had everything installed in the case seems secure now however. Also the fan is not very quiet
Overall Review: Would not recommend if you're planning on OCing your CPU
Good budget case

Pros: Super Affordable little case that does exactly what you need it to. Build quality is actually not bad for the price you pay and is also very, very lightweight. The side window is a nice tough, it comes with dark tinting so you can't really see inside all that well but still, it's a nice touch.
Cons: Cable management is not really good this is not a tooless design for optical (if your still use them) or HDD/SSD, so get your screw driver out :-)
Better than expected

Pros: Its a good alternative to internet over WiFi Simply to use and setup, literally plug and play Came with all the necessary equipment and no software is required, although it does come with a install guide CD
Cons: None really; I did not achieve the 200 MB/s speeds, however they may be capable of that on different networks
Overall Review: I didn't initially expect these adapters to perform as well as they did. I achieved a consistent 100 MB/s over my network which was plenty for all my online needs. These units also performed better than my WiFi setup I had running on my son's computer, in terms of online multiplayer, I was able to game on Black Ops II multiplayer with very little lag or interuptions. Obviously the biggest downside to getting a powerline adapter is depending on your house's wiring. My house was built with in the last 15years so I didn't have any serious issues with the two adapters running the signal from one to the other through my powerlines. I have heard of older houses having issues achieving a stable and consistent connection. I think on the whole this is a great alternative to buying simple WiFi adapters or running range extenders. My results were great and can't see not recommending them.
