works great with Comcast in S. FL

MOTOROLA SB6120 Cable Modem SURFboard eXtreme 160Mbps in DOCSIS mode and 195Mbps in EuroDOCSIS mode Ethernet Port DOCSIS 3.0
MOTOROLA SB6120 Cable Modem SURFboard eXtreme 160Mbps in DOCSIS mode and 195Mbps in EuroDOCSIS mode Ethernet Port DOCSIS 3.0

Pros: Got this from another online vendor since New Egg is out of stock. Chose this over the the SB6121 because of the reported overheating issues with the "updated" version. Went from a Linksys BEFCMU10 cable modem to this thing, and the speed difference is amazing. Comcast sent me the notice to upgrade in Dec/Jan, and I kept putting it off because the docsis 1.0 was still kinda working but lately it finally started crawling worse then a 28.8 modem. I'm not really noticing a huge heat issue. Luckily the case has a nice size and plenty of holes in it which allows heat to dissipate properly. If I remember correctly, Speakeasy.net speed tests came in about 20MB/s. I was able to download a 600+ MB file in under 20 min.

Cons: had to call Comcast and give them its MAC address

22" of great color

SAMSUNG 22" LCD Monitor 5 ms 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI-D 220WM

Pros: Got this at one of the national brick & mortars and every time I'm at the computer, I wish I'd have the cash to get another one of these bad boys. The colors are bright and images are very sharp. No dead pixels, no pixelation. AVI, mpeg and other video are all crisp. My friend got a 46" Samsung tv, with the 120hz refresh rate, and the video on that is equally stunning.

Cons: DVI cable that came with the monitor isn't compatible with DVI on my video card, so monitor is running through SVGA port.

Overall Review: I haven't tried the built in speakers, but they are there if you're in a bind and need them. Don't expect to blast subfm through them though, or you'll burn them out within minutes.
