Decent board, worked right away

GIGABYTE GA-Z87-HD3 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-Z87-HD3 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Board works, has plenty of expansion slots and usb for now, better layout than my old board.

Cons: Locks for the memory slots are flimsy. One broke off just while opening it to install my RAM and another feels loose and close to breaking, despite the gentlest of nudges with my tiny female fingers.

Overall Review: As long as my RAM continues to work without reseating a bunch, I'll be happy enough.

Willing to wait for update

Razer Naga Epic Rechargable Wireless MMO PC Gaming Mouse
Razer Naga Epic Rechargable Wireless MMO PC Gaming Mouse

Pros: Wired/wireless option is great, the mouse feels amazing in my hand, good response and accuracy, lots of options for MMO gaming and I can make different profiles for each game etc. I haven't noticed any problems with the cable yet, as others have.

Cons: As many others have noted, Synapse 2.0 is awful and freezy. When the software doesn't freeze, it is really quite easy to change settings and all, but the freezing is definitely an issue that needs to be fixed. Just imagine how upset you'd get if the mouse froze during PvP and you had to toggle the wired/wireless switch (and die in the process).

Overall Review: I'm happy enough with the mouse itself that I'm willing to give Razer a chance to fix the software. The freezes happen very infrequently so far and the mouse is tons better than my last gaming mouse. But I do hope that Synapse 2.0 gets updated/replaced very soon.

Very nice for gaming

ASUS GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card ENGTX550 TI DC/DI/1GD5
ASUS GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card ENGTX550 TI DC/DI/1GD5

Pros: Great price Worlds better than my old card Made SW:TOR oh so very pretty, can run at maxed vid settings now.

Cons: It was a tight fit getting it in my case, and I had to move a couple things, minor annoyance.

Overall Review: I removed an egg just for the bulky size, although the fit issues are probably more to do with the weird configuration of my mobo. But I had to remove my RAM and one of my HDDs while I was installing this. Still, even if you happen to have a similar issue, it's well worth it.

I love this thing

Link Depot PD-SDMMC 4-in-1 USB 2.0 Card Reader/Adapter
Link Depot PD-SDMMC 4-in-1 USB 2.0 Card Reader/Adapter

Pros: -Can easily move data from camera, cellphone, etc. to computers that don't have cardreaders -Fairly portable -Makes my micro SDHC's more versatile, since they can be used in my phone, camera, or as USB flash memory. -Great price

Cons: -The width of this thing makes it impractical for some USB ports that are set further back into the case. I found this out the hard way trying to transfer files from home to my computer at work. I know it comes with a USB extension cable, which is nice, but I can't give this 5 eggs because needing that cable decreases its portability.

Overall Review: Overall a great product, but now I make a mental note on which computers it will fit. I'd hoped that this little reader could replace my drawer full of regular USB flash drives, but it looks like I'll still need them.

pretty good

TRENDnet TEW-631BRP 300Mbps Wireless N Broadband Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE802.11n Draft
TRENDnet TEW-631BRP 300Mbps Wireless N Broadband Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE802.11n Draft

Pros: -Reasonable price -high speeds -got it set up fast -My desktop gets a good strong signal

Cons: -Finding where all the settings were was a little tricky -Default IP address was not what startup guide said it was

Overall Review: This router has been serving me well now that all the settings have been figured out. There's bundled software on the install disc that I checked out. It's good for those who are new to wireless networks, but otherwise you probably just want to use the web interface.

brilliant!

Link Depot PD-SDMMC 4-in-1 USB 2.0 Card Reader/Adapter
Link Depot PD-SDMMC 4-in-1 USB 2.0 Card Reader/Adapter

Pros: I bought this in combination with a couple 8gb microSD's with SD adapters. So for a low price, I have versatility to use the memory wherever I need it, and I can easily transfer files between my devices and my computer. The fact that it also ends up being way cheaper than buying the same amount of flash memory as a regular thumb drive is just funny to me.

Cons: The width of the casing prevents me from connecting to the USB ports on some computers (my office uses eMacs, and the design of the USB ports has them set into the side of the computer so there is a plastic ledge blocking me from connecting). It's not really a huge problem, and if I really wanted to I could fix it with a USB extension cable.

Overall Review: It's a nice, cheap, portable card reader. If you don't need a huge, fancy, I-can-do-everything reader and you want the portability, this is perfect.
