This review is from: TRENDnet TV-IP662WI Megapixel 720P HD Wireless Day/Night Pam and Tilt IP Camera
Pros: This IP camera seems to be able to do it all.
720p video, alarm function, record on a micro-SD chip, night vision.
Looks like a perfect home security camera.
Cons: After plug-in, the camera displayed in black-and-white
The lens had to be manually focused, like a 2003 web cam.
Frainy picture with flat colors.
Installation was not intuitive.
Remote viewing has to be manually set up in the cable modem and the router, even when using the TRENDnet app.
Other Thoughts: I spent 3 hours trying to get a half decent picture.
I had expected better, especially after using a few WansCam IP cameras that I set up in 15 minutes flat, with crisp pictures and no-trouble remote viewing and operation.
I'll probably return this one and replace it with a $50 WansCam.

Pros: After working with several brands of IP camera's - most were more than twice the price of this one - I was pleasantly surprised with this camera. It's simple, it simply works.
Plug it into your router, install the software (I did Windows and iPad) and you have a picture, even from a remote location.
Enter the WiFi's name and passwork, unplug the network cable and you're done.
Crisp, sharp, colorful images at day, crisp sharp grayshade at night
Cons: A few less features than I hoped, but still rich in features.
After 24 hours, the image chip of one of the two camera's quit: I get a black picture, with sound. Let's see how the service department works.
This review is from: 2.5'' HD 1280x960 Portable Car DVR USB Night Vision Video Recorder Camera TFT
Pros: It works!
Bright colors, sharp, color display, it records sound.
Cons: You've got to be kidding - HD for this price? 1280 x 960 pixels, 30fps - really?
I should have kept on reading - in the specs it says "interpolated by software".
I'm guessing the true resolution is 640 x 480. The highest resolution is sharper than the lowest, file size is about the same. My 32GB SD Flash drive will hold about 7 hours of video.
Other Thoughts: No regrets - I've got a dash cam for $21 - shipped.READ FULL REVIEW
