Great headset, but not without its minor problems (PC only perspective)
Pros: Upgraded to these from a much lower quality Plantronics headset. Suffice to say the difference was amazing in terms of sound quality. Sound quality is nothing short of amazing, couldn't ask for anything more. Switching the sounds on each of the 4 different speaker sets is a nice feature.
Cons: Like mentioned before, the huge Adaptors (x2 at that), the insane amount of cables, and they are a bit heavy so it gets a bit tiring wearing them after awhile, but I can still game with them for hours very comfortably.
Overall Review: While most of my grips are minor inconveniences, it does add up. If you don't have a problem with these inconveniences, it's an easy purchase. If you do, then you should consider them first before buying these. Shipping as usual is fantastic through Newegg, love having a distribution center in my state, even if that means tax is added to my purchases.
Excellent SSD, works like a charm.
Pros: Owned it for nearly 7 months now, haven't had a single problem with it. Write speeds were among the best I could ask for for a SATA II SSD as I had a DB to write to. Read speeds were of course amazing, windows booting up in a couple of seconds is always nice to see. Would definitely recommend vertex series to anyone.
Cons: This is a general con and not specific to OCZ or this model, buyer beware on SSDs. The technology is not nearly as reliable yet as HDDs and as a result you may find yourself RMAing it once or multiple times before you get a working one. Obviously doesn't warrant removing an egg because there's nothing OCZ can do about that yet.
Overall Review: If you're in the market for an SSD I definitely recommend OCZ IMO, people complain that OCZ's SSDs are unstable and fail too much but I honestly think that's an overstatement and really just a by product of the technology. No real point in getting a Vertex 2 anymore unless you get a really nice deal on it or you don't have SATA III, Vertex 3 is out already and not too much more expensive than Vertex 2 and double the speeds thanks t SATA III.
Great TV, not too great of a price
Pros: Got this TV when they had the CNET deal for $399. For that price it's a great TV, surprised at the amount of HDMI ports you get with it. Picture quality is great, easy to set up and didn't come with any dead pixels as far as I can see. Newegg shipping as always is amazing.
Cons: Sound quality isn't really that great, Current price on Newegg ($629 at the time of writing) is not that good for this TV, can get a better deal elsewhere. If you find this TV under $500 though it's certainly a solid deal.
Solid case, but drawbacks
Pros: Pretty solid price point First time using screw less for the 5.25 drives and I really like it, simple and easy to use. Not too hard to fit in a big (ATI 6950) graphics card. 2.5in adapter for the SSD was a nice bonus. Runs nice and quiet, and weight wise it's nice.
Cons: It seems to be pretty common to see hard drives fit in backwards, makes for some awkward wiring. Had some trouble aligning my DVD drive with the case, initially wouldn't fit in before I ended up nudging it a bit till it did. The instruction manual is pretty lacking. Even though you don't need much if you have experience building, if you don't, it might be a bit confusing to some.
Overall Review: If you're not too worried about the drawbacks, then it's a pretty solid case and I would certainly recommend it.
Excellent headset
Pros: Upgraded from SteelSeries 5H v2, it's miles different than the 5H series. Sound quality is a ton better, noise cancellation is really great, first headset I've used that really does noise cancel well even when your volume is low, I've had a bunch of headsets that claim they are noise canceling, but nothing even close to this headset. Microphone is nice and sturdy, designed well.
Cons: Microphone sound by default is pretty low, but just a few tinkers in windows to fix that. Disappointed with the little dinky Mic/Sound control, but it functions fine so not that big of a deal. May feel a bit tight for some (seems pretty consistent with a lot of Steelseries headset's), but you get used to it.
Overall Review: Best headset purchase I've made yet, minor cons are not enough to even consider giving it 4 stars or less, let alone not purchasing it. Get this headset, you won't regret it.
Fantastic cooler
Pros: This thing is an absolute beauty, while I'm not over clocking, seeing stock temperatures on my E8400 @ 35C idle and below is a beautiful thing coming from pre built computers and seeing high 40s at idle. I don't even want to know what my idle's would have been if I used intel's stock fan.
Cons: none that I can think of, hasn't given me a problem yet.
Overall Review: Very affordable price with great results, what more can you ask for?
