not for NAS, no
Pros: OK as regular HDD (still overpriced).
Cons: Was a WD fan and for many years buying WD RE's for servers and even Blue's for workstations and home PCs. Now we are moving to SSDs and obviously RE's does not make sense anymore. So, I've decided to try Red Pro instead at warm storage level. After all it is a NAS up to 16 and it is a "pro" (according to WD). NO. It is not for NAS. It is for pain in the a..... Mirrors failing at least once a month. As soon as we have moderate load peak mirrors are failing. Over the year I am taking out RedPro one by one and replacing it by Blues in raid10 (lucky me I still have enough of Blues). Tons of pain and frustration. I would like to know folks how it possible to have non-pro Blue working in situation when Red "Pro" failing? Just for your info - queue can be more than 2 for ~20 minutes once a month. Yes, it can. It is a NAS after all, is it? Do you know what NAS is about? Use Google to figure out, it may help. Good bye WD. I am doing last RMAs and after that only cold data on your drives. RedPro was a mistake. Big and expensive mistake.
Overall Review: priced like server drives (almost) quality is below home models.
dead after first use
Pros: i have 3 other adata s102 stick, all 32gb and all of them working fine.
Cons: stick died after first use.
Overall Review: is it 64gb problem? chips tech process thinner and therefore less reliable?
seller does not accept returns
ELECTRONIQUE HI-FI does not want any returns. Despite their own policy published on Newegg they don't want your return whatsoever. They don't even bother to reply to you (pretending they didn't hear? hiding out?) Last time I had such terrible experience on e-bay, but never with any Canadian stores. Stay away.
