EVGA GeForce 7600GT DirectX 9 256-P2-N550-RX 256MB 128-Bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Video Card
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: None really, its really outdated. Got my first one in 06 i think.

Cons: First card bought in 2006 lasted 6 months, fan burned up and fried the card. Warrantied it. 2nd card worked good for the most part until spring of 2011. The newest drivers for this card are bad. Installed them, week later it caused a severe Windows glitch that is well known and discussed. Caused pc to get hung in an everlasting boot cycle. Had to reformat hard drive and start fresh. After reinstallation of everything, except updated drivers, pc ran fine for 4 months. Monitor started having issues. Thought it could be the graphics card. Decided to try updating the drivers again in hope that i didnt have it glitch again. Ended up, monitor died the day. Dont know why. Card maybe? Bought new monitor, week goes by, graphics card died. If you do buy this, DONOT run the newest drivers. They will trash either your system or the card itself. I swapped cards, pc works fine now. This is a recertified card they are selling, mine were new and had issues. Buyer beware.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the money. Buy something newer.
