Nice AGP upgrade
Pros: Brighter graphics, more detail in WoW. No screen tearing in game and windows swap evenly as well. Cooling fan is extremely quiet
Cons: Drivers from giggabyte took almost 2 hours to download, HDMI port does seem too close to edge of the case and I got this mainly to transfer video to a wireless transmitter for our HD TVs.
Overall Review: HDMI could be positioned better and drivers could be zipped up for quicker download
Dead card
Pros: Cant really test that since it wont work
Cons: Dead when tried to plug in
Overall Review: Not sure if this shows bad quality on the brand or the Fry's(not sure if I can name stores) where I bought it, it was open box so I thought "hey I can save a few bucks" well I should have known better. D/L the correct drivers from nVidia and it wouldnt even come on, the first screen was fuzzy but some cards are like that before you mess with them. After I took it out it was apparent what the problem was, the heat sink was hot to the touch, this was after it was installed with less that 5 mins run time, the 6800 I took out wasnt this hot and it had been on all day. I will return it tomorrow to see if a fresh one will be better, its a shame because I have had really good luck with BFG, my 6800 was made by BFG and it has been a workhorse.
