Watch USB hubs

Pros: Works fine, using Ubuntu Linux and Mac OS X.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Mine started forgetting the mouse (unresponsive) when switching away from and back to one computer. Eventually realized the USB hub used on that computer was overloaded. It shouldn't have been: it is a 7 port, full but powered at 3.5W. I took one device off the USB hub, and all is well.
Not there yet for Linux

Pros: Reviews promise superior performance.
Cons: For lack of a driver, not easy to install on Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04. I heard 9.04 had better wireless support, and it does, but not for the RA2860, the chip this card uses. You'll find supposed solutions, native and NDISWrapper'ed, on the web, but I always hit snags following them.
Bad news

Pros: None.
Cons: Failed, replaced. Flaky service. Failed again, taking valuable data with it. Data recovery efforts, futile. Tossed.
Overall Review: Together with other experience (3 of 4 Seagate drives failing), I'll never buy Seagate again.
Not a volume license

Pros: Nice product.
Cons: If you are buying copies for a school computer lab, you want to talk with Adobe about a volume license. If you order many copies of this Teacher and Student Edition, you will need to provide a student ID for each copy.
So easy, precise

Pros: I've used nothing else on my Mac mini for decades. I'm glad they still make this one. Your finger has much more control and range than thumb-based trackballs (or mice).
Cons: None. The paint might wear off in spots eventually, and if you turn it upside down the ball will escape, but no big deal.
Overall Review: If I ever needed another mouse, I'd buy another one of these - but mine keeps on ticking.
Nice

Pros: I ordered this by accident, but I like it. It doesn't smell like neoprene. It opens on two sides, making insertion/removal easy. It fits my 14" Lenovo laptop better than the 14" neoprene sleeve (I tried at a local store) I thought I was ordering. Fits nicely in my messenger bag.
Cons: Doesn't protect from drops like a hard case would, obviously.
