Good MP3 Player
Pros: Plays Audio Books Has an FM Tuner You can use an SDcard to expand music storage Nice EQ Settings Great sound
Cons: I've noticed on cold days the screen is very slow to respond, you can still perform functions but the screen doesn't show what you're doing The Menus can sometimes be a bit difficult navigate because it reacts differently when it's playing something compared to when it's not.
DOA
Pros: None
Cons: The device was Dead on arrival and would not take a charge or turn on. I am going to RMA it for the replacement and hope I haven't thrown away $30.00.
I thought it was DOA
Pros: Good clean interface, being able to customize the menu is nice so I can hide features I'm not using such as the video section. Lightweight and the sound is good
Cons: Upon first receiving the player I unpacked it and plugged in for charging using the cord that came with it. Upon plugging it in the charging screen showed up and I thought it was charging. After 3 and Half hours I unplugged it and attempted to turn it on and nothing. It wouldn't come on at all. I plugged back in and again saw the charging screen. Figuring it was a bad player I prepared to RMA it and even printed out the shipping label. that's when I noticed the screen had went black on it. Now it was completely dead. On a whim I decided to try plugging it into the charger for smartphone, and bam, the screen lit up and the charging screen appeared, then I noticed the little charging bar (the one that looks like a little battery) in the upper right hand corner, and it was showing that it was charging. So I thought Ohhh well maybe it's just a bad cord. Well I plugged the cord that came with the player into my phone, and it worked and began charging my phone??
Overall Review: I'm not sure what happened with the cord and why it didn't work at first but finally I was able to charge the player and update the firmware and it seems to be working fine now. I took away 2 eggs, one for the charging issues and one for the fact that it came with no manual at all and I had to look that up online.
