Pros: This drive is built into an extremely durable case. You can drive your car on it and other nonsense.
Cons: This drive failed after slightly more than two years of service as a periodic back-up. During that time it was not used heavily, abused, or unplugged before telling my computer to stop using it.
I tried connecting this to three different computers, using two different cables and it was not recognized properly for driver installation; it's now a paperweight.
Other Thoughts: I don't plan to buy a "durable" replacement at an inflated price just so I can drive my car on it. Instead I'll just buy a regular portable drive and keep it out of harms way. I may try to disassemble this failed one and see if I can replace the hard drive inside.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Polk Audio PSW Series PSW111 Black Compact powered subwoofer Single
Pros: This Sub is compact, yet delivers a good punch. The construction is very solid, and it has adjustments for output power and frequency cutoff so it can be tuned to fit the other speakers in your system. Wonderful little sub at a very reasonable price.
Cons: I struggle to think of any cons; Possibly the small diameter of the legs (tends to leave deep marks in carpet), but this can be worked around fairly easily.
Other Thoughts: I love this Sub. I have owned it for three years now and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I paid about $225 for mine, which is still a good deal in my opinion. Recently Newegg had it on sale for $170 shipped; I found myself trying to think up reasons why I needed to buy another one.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply & New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
Pros: This supplies plenty of power, with excellent efficiency. The unit runs very quiet and cool. The cables are kept organized by nice mesh sleeves and they are long enough to reach the cpu power connector at the top of a motherboard when mounted in a mid tower, with the power supply mounted at the bottom.
Cons: The cables can get a bit cluttered since this is not a modular power supply.
Other Thoughts: A modular version would be great, but probably would cost more. Cable clutter isn't too bad; not enough to reduce my rating.
Overall, a very nice power supply; I would buy it again in a minute.
