Pros: Small size. Good price (when on sale). Quiet. 3-year warranty. Included case. Short cable. Sexy case with caveat (see below).

Cons: Smooth/shiny lends itself to scratches.

Overall Review: After following the advice of several other posters from this site and others, I also removed the included backup software, formatted the drive once more in NTFS-mode, and chose a different backup software. Currently, using CNET's guidance, I'm using freeware Cobian Backup 10. No problems backing up 40gb of data so far with another 100gb to go. Have used it daily for past week. Saving invoice from Newegg just in case I need to use that 3yr warranty. Another bonus is the neoprene case with fold-over flap. The front of it also has a mesh pocket the normally holds the included cable. When I use the drive and want to protect the shiny finish, I remove the short cable from the mesh pocket, install it on the drive, and place the drive in the mesh pocket. Pretty cool!

Pros: Works as advertised.

Cons: 1st unit died just under 2yr warranty period and TP-Link replaced it with no issues. Only hassle is calling their support line is the only option. 2nd unit died 5mos after the 2yr period. I'm going to call anyway and see if they're willing to replace regardless.

Overall Review: I think these units fail because of heat. If place in areas with little airflow I think they'd last longer..but this is only a guess.
