Most Favorable Review

Great product

Kingston 60GB Mini-SATA (mSATA) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SMS200S3/60G
Kingston 60GB Mini-SATA (mSATA) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SMS200S3/60G

Pros: Good speed at a good price. I have been using this in my laptop for some time now. I am loving the speed and it just works. Great little product

Cons: Not a con I wish SSDs and MSATA devices would continue to fall in price so everyone can afford them.

Overall Review: Buy the correct product. Yes there are different slots out there that look very similar. Check your specs sheet to make sure these are compatible with your machine(laptop/desktop) If you have zero understanding of the equipment you are buying the hardware for, please don't put you have the highest tech knowledge and rate the product low. It is misrepresenting the product by scoring it low because you purchased the wrong product. It is not Kingston's nor Newegg's fault that you just looked at the slot and thought it was the same. You need to check the complete specs before you purchase something. If it doesn't work then offer a review explaining why you gave it such low eggs but not because you don't know the different between a PATA slot and a SATA slot on your motherboard.

Well sorta

BUFFALO AirStation HighPower N300 Gigabit Wireless Router - WZR-HP-G300NH
BUFFALO AirStation HighPower N300 Gigabit Wireless Router - WZR-HP-G300NH

Pros: Ok so it does pretty much everything you could want it to do for a decent price. Great N mimo and great range. The dual band really worked well as I could leave the 5ghz for my wife and the 2.4ghz on for my mom cause she only has 802.11G Can't say I could complain until...................

Cons: Okay so I went to update the firmware from Buffalo and it bricked. I mean hard brick too. I can't even TFTP it now. Slow WAN to LAN. That should be an enough said statement. Could be the bad router but I don't think so.

Overall Review: I emailed Buffalo and they asked me some questions and the replacement is already on it's way to my house. The rep said probably had a bad chip on it or something like that. Great support from them but I still can only give it a 3 out of 5 because the WAN to LAN on this one is bad. On my current router I bought to replace this one I am getting about 45mbs from my 30mbs service(got to love speed boost).(And it is not an expensive one either) On the Buffalo I was only getting 10mbs. So I cannot recommend this unless the new one gets a lot better.

Great Hard Drive Decent Price

Western Digital Blue WD2500AAKX 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Blue WD2500AAKX 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: It sits in a nice price point and is a very reliable drive. The company (I'm in the IT Dept.)I work for just upgraded their computers from 80GB drives to these for more storage on the workstation computers. Now most of the employees use these just for email and internet so even if they aren't the fastest around it works great. I bought this drive to replace an OEM drive from Dell. The Dell drive was a 250GB 5400rpm drive so this was a huge step up in performance and stability. Never had a problem with any of these drives.

Cons: 16MB of cache. I know it is a lower end drive but the extra 16MB to 48MB would be nice. Not a big deal at all though since the drive is so reliable.

Overall Review: If you need a great reliable drive for under $60 and don't need more than 250GB of storage then you really can't go wrong on this drive. Sure you may have the occasional DOA drive but that is to be expected. You have that with every single brand out there no matter what part you are buying. What it comes down to is how the company treats you if it happens. WD treats people right. I have had to RMA RE3 and RE4 drives and they usually do a cross ship or ship it to me first. I had an RE3 drive that was just beyond the warranty date and they replaced it anyway. WD is my choice of HD MFG and with the customer service I don't think you can go wrong with them. I have had experience with multiple drive companies personally and professionally and WD has always treated me with respect and never have they treated me as if I had no clue what I was doing. To me, that means a lot and tells a lot about a company. I am not the most knowledgeable person but I do have a bit of experience in computers to know when a company is no worth the time of day.

Works Great for 1080P

StarTech.com MDP2DVIS Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter - 1080p - Single Link - Active - Mini DP (Thunderbolt) to DVI Monitor Adapter
StarTech.com MDP2DVIS Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter - 1080p - Single Link - Active - Mini DP (Thunderbolt) to DVI Monitor Adapter

Pros: It just works. Plugged it in for my triple monitor setup and it just works. I have all three monitors running at 1080p and have setup eyefinity for gaming and what can I say, it just works.

Cons: None that I can see

Overall Review: I was told not to buy these because they were supplied power by a usb port but I haven't had any troubles. I probably wouldn't recommend if you are using anything higher than 1080P but if you are running 1080P setup this is very nice

Great card

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100352-2L
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100352-2L

Pros: Very overclockable card even with the stock cooler. I am running 1100/1450 with just a slight bump in vcore but some say that isn't a necessity but I was getting small artifacts until I bumped it up very little. There are full coverage water blocks available if you are a liquid cooler. I am playing Sleeping Dogs, Dirt3, Dirt Showdown, BM:AC, and all with high settings at a min of 50FPS. I currently have a waterblock on it and I am running full tilt at 45*C

Cons: I guess length if you have a short case(I have Corsair 650D so it isn't a problem.) Not sure of anything else unless your drivers don't mesh but mine are fine and I am running a hybrid physx setup.

Overall Review: Farcry3 was having issues but has been cleaned up a bit with the Beta13.2 and cap available. All in all a great card that keeps up with the games I am playing Current setup: FX 8320 @4.6Ghz 16GB corsair vengence 1600 9.9.9.24 this card Gigabyte GTX650 for folding and Physx GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD5 dual Crucial M4 64Gb Raid 0 Two WD RE4 750Gb Corsair 650D Corsair HX650

Great little switch

D-Link 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Desktop Switch (DGS-105)
D-Link 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Desktop Switch (DGS-105)

Pros: Very solid metal build for a small switch. Price was very nice. Gigabit ethernet in a small formfactor

Cons: None that I can see so far. If something should arise, I will update my ratings

Overall Review: This is a very good little switch. I have my remote access point a computer(my jimmy rigged server) and a dell 5310n laser printer.

Impressed

This is a great laptop for a great price. These laptops are still very viable as a daily use machine. I added 4GB of ram that I had from an l another laptop. Overall you won't find a better deal. EPC is a top notch organization that I have used locally and will continue to do business with.
