Mushkin Ventura Plus 32gb

Mushkin Enhanced Ventura Plus 32GB USB 3.0 Ultra High Speed Flash Drive MKNUFDVS32GB
Mushkin Enhanced Ventura Plus 32GB USB 3.0 Ultra High Speed Flash Drive MKNUFDVS32GB

Pros: This device worked exceptionally well, beyond my expectations actually. The read speed in real world testing came out to be around 194MB/s average for each test and the pleasantly surprising bit was the write speed averaged 51 MB/s. Above the rated speed by a good margin. The drive feels like it was built very solid and easily the best usb drive I've ever picked up.

Cons: No cons, other than the fact of two weeks in my girlfriend lost it. I think my next purchase will be the 64Gb enhanced ventura pro plus.

Overall Review: I was worried that it would not reach the rated speeds but I noticed most people who review this do not write down their motherboard which is a huge factor because not all usb 3.0 ports are equal on cheap motherboards. So unless their board is stated take the review with a grain of salt. I have a Gigabyte UD3-H z87

Most Critical Review

It works somewhat.

Team X101 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive TG032GX101L3
Team X101 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive TG032GX101L3

Pros: It holds 32GB

Cons: It is simply not nearly as fast as the manufacturer claims. In real world testing the read speed was averaging 90MB/s and the write was an awful 32MB/s. This drive was a replacement over my Mushkin ventura drive that was of the same size a similarly priced I thought I would try something different because of the higher rated write speed. Clearly that was unwise. The drive works but previous devices have gone above and beyond rated speeds.. this drive can barely reach half speed.

Overall Review: I want to note I have a Gigabyte UD3h z87 motherboard because not all usb 3.0 is the same. No bottlenecks here, everyone should list their boards for these reviews!

Great for the price

TP-LINK TL-WN881ND Wireless N300 PCI Express Adapter, 300 Mbps, w/ WPS Button, IEEE 802.1b/g/n, 64 / 128-bit WEP, WPA / WPA2, Plug & Play in Windows
TP-LINK TL-WN881ND Wireless N300 PCI Express Adapter, 300 Mbps, w/ WPS Button, IEEE 802.1b/g/n, 64 / 128-bit WEP, WPA / WPA2, Plug & Play in Windows

Pros: Works just as stated cheap and fast.

Cons: Not a big fan of the software but once it's set you don't really have to toy with it.

Overall Review: I don't know how to set the wireless setting to not show up each time I start windows but it's only the smallest type of hindrance. Still worth the price of admission.

Top notch Hdd

WD Red Plus 1TB NAS Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM Class SATA 6Gb/s, CMR, 64MB Cache, 3.5 Inch - WD10EFRX
WD Red Plus 1TB NAS Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM Class SATA 6Gb/s, CMR, 64MB Cache, 3.5 Inch - WD10EFRX

Pros: Does everything it should, read and write speeds around 150MB/s depending on the files being moved. Purchased on sale for $56 for a video game storage. And for that price you can't find a better 1tb server grade drive.

Cons: No Cons

Overall Review: I would recommend just buying WD Blue because it's a little cheaper with the same performance but there is no reason not to get this when it's on sale like I did.
