Pros: Runs fast.
Pushes lots of air
LED lights up!
Runs super quiet at 1,000 RPMs
Cons: Gets loud in my particular case when RPM goes over 2,000 even louder over 2,500 RPMs
Had to set RPM speed to 50% in my bios to cut down the noise.
it still pushes plent of air though :)
Other Thoughts: if you cant manually set the speeds of this case fan in your BIOS don't get it. it might run very loud for you at MAX. as with some MBs it might automate it at max speeds and be loud.READ FULL REVIEW
comes with extra pins
Perfect for those large computer cases especially when you have crossfire cards installed and the cables cant go around
Other Thoughts: Cheap and very usefulREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 6-Core 3.3GHz Socket AM3+ 95W FD6100WMGUSBX Desktop Processor
Pros: Runs cold even when I've overclocked it.
1866mhz memory controller
KICKS intel's behind by price and value. hands down
Cheap for an amazing CPU
Six cores running at 4.0 under 110F max load. but I'm leaving it at 3.6 because 3.6 is MORE than enough.
runs all newest games without a single hicup.
intel is great but you're paying to much. get this one its runs your applications just as good for less money.
and honestly.... i looked at the benchmark scores and apparently intel is better BUT those scores are irrelevant and don't mean jack poop when you actually experience the feel of both chips and realize with your own two eyes that there is almost no significant difference between the two.
Optimized for the upcoming windows 8 (this will last you a long time)
Not that well optimized for windows 7 (Not AMD's fault, Microsoft is working on this and they're being slow)
Cons: Stock heatsink/fan is horrible. it's loud, cheap and useless.
better off getting an aftermarket cooler
Turbo is useless just turn it off and overclock it with an aftermarket cooler and leave it at that.
Other Thoughts: works great, runs fast and cool on my AMD AM3 890FX-GD65
for 150 bucks? wow what a deal! thats pocket change!
**Make sure you update your BIOS!**
especially with older MBs and if you don't it might not post.
