NZXT RF-FZ20S-02 200mm Case Fan

5 out of 5 eggs Great fan 09/21/2014

This review is from: NZXT RF-FZ20S-02 200mm Case Fan

Pros: Excellent airflow! Very quiet! Easily mounted and decent cable length. No problems installing and hooking it up in my NZXT Source 530 case.

Cons: Wish I could fit 2 in the front of my case

Other Thoughts: I guess for some it wouldn't fit right or whatever, but in my case it was perfect. I had no issues installing it or routing it to my fan hub in my Source 530 case. I wish all my installs were this smooth. Great airflow and quiet. My case doesn't get above 30c.

3 out of 5 eggs Does the job, could've been better though. 09/21/2014

This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Value 4-Pack)

Pros: Pushes good airflow, case stays below 30c. Came with right screws.

Cons: The 2 main gripes I have is that they are not quiet at all. One fan I had when mounted as an intake rattled, as if it were hitting something, even though there was nothing obstructing it. Remounted it as an exhaust, and it stopped rattling. So I left it as an exhaust, but still annoying. The rest don't do that, but they still aren't quiet. The second is they have extremely short cables. I have an NZXT Source 530 and trying to route them for cable management and hook them into my fan hub was impossible for 2 of the fans, luckily my mobo had enough sysfan jumpers.

Other Thoughts: They do the job, and I suppose at this price you can't expect too much. But still, they do cool well, just wish they were more quiet and user friendly about it.

Pros: I bought this board for a build I put together for my kids, and coupled it with an Athlon II x3 455. This board is surprisingly fast. Very fast POST (keep hitting the delete key when you first turn it on or you might miss the quick flash screen before it boots windows). Very well laid out, easy setup. It actually boots faster than my Gigabyte GA-990FX UD3.

Cons: No SLI if you're an Nvidia user, but that's already known with this chipset.

Other Thoughts: You really can't go wrong with this board for a budget build. It's half the price of my Gigabyte board and in some respects I like this board better. I plan on upgrading the CPU soon, but for now it runs good!
