Good, but doesn't outlast the warranty
Pros: I love the size, and the mouse functions well on all surfaces except my glass desktop. I knew that from the start, so that was not a big deal. This mouse was bought to accompany my netbook that I use for international travel, and has been to three continents. Pros: Size Functionality Durability Long battery life Small receiver
Cons: Cons: Receiver started shorting out middle of Fall 2012. Had to wiggle it to get it to be recognized by the computer. No big deal at first. I just had to find the angle that it wanted to be recognized at. Now, after a few months of putting up with this, I have to wedge a paper clip in next to it to get it to sit in the USB port well enough to recognize the mouse. Otherwise, the computer only recognizes it for a few minutes before the receiver decides to stop working.
Overall Review: Lasted almost 3 years, and has been good so far. Tested all USB ports on both my computer and my wife's computer with the receiver, and got the same result, so I know it is not an issue with the computers. The receiver has spent its time either plugged into the USB port or in the receiver storage well in the battery compartment of the mouse. If getting 2.5 years out of a mouse is good enough for you, this one is good. If you want something that lasts longer, go for something else.
Mic is dying
Pros: Good price, good sound quality through earpieces
Cons: After owning this only since august of 2007, the mic is dying so that my friends can no longer hear me over TeamSpeak
Overall Review: aside from mic dying, its ok. Might RMA it
Fine piece of gear
Pros: Quiet, works well, cools my Inspiron 1520 Intel T7300 processor fine. Only once or twice have i actually hear the fan in the laptop come on while using this
Cons: Power plug comes out ofthe side ofthe unit quite easy, the unit needs a better way to adhere to the laptop and to the desk it sits on
Overall Review: more bang for ur buck than u get with a lot of products
I wish I had more patience
Comments: newegg rocks, 5 eggs 4 them, fedex rocks, delivered early, this fan gets a big fat ouch for the installation. I had to remove the motherboard, the retention module around the cpu, and the backplate on the motherboard and reattach them with longer screws. I got Arctic silver all over my hands while trying to get this beast in there. Next I had to attach the heatsink using these nuts that are so small you can barely grasp them to tighten. Finally, I had to reinstall my board, rewire everything, and put back in all my expansion cards. Thermaltake gets a 5 for effectiveness, a 3 for installation
flat cables a dissapointment
Comments: I love the board, perfect for my new system. Fits in my Aspire X-navigator with plenty of room. I am slightly annoyed that it came with flat cables. at the manufacturers site, it shows it coming with round IDE cables. Like mblue before me, I am dissapointed by the flat cables.
