ASUS fan for life!
Pros: 1st build and and it went like butter with this board. Looks tuf and the manual was dumbed down enough for me to understand.
Cons: I received one of the no sound boards, but new egg had a new one to me in a week. The manual is off by few pages.
Overall Review: Really like ASUS and never had any problems with my rog laptop that Ive had for a couple years. As for the no sound, not a big deal. Its a cr%p shoot with electronics and you win some and loose some. Plus it gave me an excuse to sleeve my wires..lol
DIYPC Skyline-07-G Black/Green SECC ATX Full Tower
Pros: Lots of room. 7 fans, 2 usb3 and 2 usb2 ports on front. Plenty of room left over if wanting to do a H80 or 60. All wires marked with where they go. Looks great.
Cons: 1st- price. This is a nice tower, but not at $139. It should be in the $80-100 range. 2nd- Very difficult to get the side panels off. There is no notch to grab and pull back. 3rd- Fans and Fan controller are so-so. The fans are quiet, but don't really move alot air. I held a paper towel in front of the fans on high and was not impressed. The fans barely pushed the towel up and the pull fans on front and side barely held the towel in place. They will be fine for a everyday computer with moderate gaming done on it. If your doing a bunch of gaming it would upgrade the cooling. 4th- HDD top hot swap is in my opinion is in a bad spot and kinda unnecessary. The spot that it is in is going to be a dirt catcher. 5th- MB placement pegs just a little off. Not a con, but JUST FOR INFO, IT WILL NOT FIT A Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU FAN. The side fans get in the way.
Overall Review: I just did a build in this case. I was very impressed on the room inside this case. Cable management was superb. This is a nice case, but can be so much better. If you can get this on sale by all means Go for it! But at the $130 price range I would go with a Rosewill THOR V2. lol when its on sale. I gave it a 3 but its more like a 3.8ish. Price and Fans is why.
