Great while they lasted
Pros: I loved the sound quality in this headset. It had some great lows and definitely improved my fps game play due to the positional virtual 7.1 surround.
Cons: Unfortunately a little over a year of ownership they decided to snap on me. Like many of the complaints on this product claim the thin plastic where the headband connects to the earpiece is very rigid. This causes this area to break due to the smallest fall. If you decide to go with this just keep that in mind and be extremely careful.
Overall Review: I was debating on whether I would go ahead and buy this product again after it broke, but I in the end decided to go with something a little less breakable. In the end I decided on the Corsair Vengeance 1500 v2. This product looked slightly tougher and was slightly less money than the Plantronics 780. We'll see if it lives up to it.
Ugh... Looks great, but only partially works
Pros: Looks like a great board and can't wait to take advantage of cool features once rma finalizes.
Cons: First of all, I can't count how many rma's I've had to do when purchasing from newegg... I must have some terrible luck... But back on topic, I received the board put the pieces together and the board wouldn't boot. The mb was giving me error 55 and the dram led was lit. I performed all of the steps to troubleshoot and attempt to resolve the issue. After checking every ram slot I discovered the problem was the first two ram slot, A1 and A2. The mb and parts would boot if the ram was inserted in the last two slots but not the first two. This effectively shut down any chance to duel channel. After calling ASUS I opted for the advance RMA but it's been over 48 hours and I have not received any news. I'm really hoping that I will not experience a similar RMA experience as another reviewer.
