Great ultra portable computer

HP 2133(KX870AT) VIA C7-M ULV 1.60 GHz 8.9" WXGA 2GB Memory 120GB HDD Mini-Note NetBook
HP 2133(KX870AT) VIA C7-M ULV 1.60 GHz 8.9" WXGA 2GB Memory 120GB HDD Mini-Note NetBook

Pros: Excellent keyboard, built-in bluetooth , Express Card slot, 120 gig hd, 2 gigs of ram.

Cons: Would be nice to have a bit more power for playing videos. Bluetooth/wireless power switch tied together.

Overall Review: This is a great little laptop for what it is - a very portable computer. If you want something to use type up letters, read emails, and browse websites, this system is great. If you want to watch fullscreen videos or play game, look for a different system. I am running Vista on it, and it is quite responsive. It does get warm, but not what I would call hot. I can keep my hand on the warm parts for over a minute without discomfort. Express Card slot lets me have mobile Internet without a USB dongle and bluetooth lets me have a mouse without a dongle, so it can have a very small footprint. Speaker quality is OK, but not great. Have not tried earphone jack yet. The keyboard is the best keyboard I have seen on a laptop. My company bought an EEEpc, and the keyboard on this computer is lightyears ahead of the EEEpc.

Nice tablet

SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab 2 GT-P3113GRSXAR WiFi 7-inch Tablet Bundle with Case - Garnet Red
SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab 2 GT-P3113GRSXAR WiFi 7-inch Tablet Bundle with Case - Garnet Red

Pros: The standard stuff

Cons: Problems connecting to some WiFi.

Overall Review: Bought for my girlfriend. For the most part she is happy with it and can do most things herself, however after connecting the first time to her home Belkin N WiFi, it had problems connecting to her home WiFi after that. Works fine everywhere else, just can't use it at home. No other device has problems hooking into this router.

Not bad at all

AOC 22" 60 Hz USB LCD Monitor 5 ms 1920 x 1080 USB 2.0 e2251Fwu
AOC 22" 60 Hz USB LCD Monitor 5 ms 1920 x 1080 USB 2.0 e2251Fwu

Pros: USB driven monitor, high res, light weight

Cons: Uses 2 USB slots, somewhat dim

Overall Review: Works as stated, a monitor that is 100% USB (both power and video). It can use 2 USB slots to power the monitor though, so keep that in mind, plus with the USB cord supplied, they have to be very close. Luckily mine works the same with one or two USB connection. Also, this is USB only, you cannot connect this monitor any other way (no HDMI, no D-Sub, etc.). I am running the monitor on a Windows 7 PC, however the install disk had a folder for Mac Drivers also, so I have to assume it will work with a Mac. I have not tried it with a Windows 8 box. If I upgrade my system, I will report back. The back has jack for a power connector, however an "external approved adapter" did not come with the monitor, which agrees with what is stated in the manual. I am guessing this will make the display brighter but since the manual does list one, the average joe might have problems finding one that is approved for the monitor. The monitor brightness is not terrible, about the brightness of my laptop when not plugged in. There is limited adjustment of the monitor (tilt -3 to 25 degrees, no height adjustment) Base seemed a little flimsy to me until I felt how light this monitor is, and the base is stable on a flat surface. Portrait is not possible either as the stand does not support rotation. Monitor has no power button on it, nor adjustments on the monitor itself. I am using the monitor in a business environment, so I have only viewed text on it. I cannot attest to how well it would work with video games, but with text editors, and web pages, it works well enough. All in all, not a feature packed monitor, but if you want another high res monitor for your laptop or desktop, and have a couple of free USB ports, it works great.

Nice little device

Pandigital WikiReader Handheld Electronic Encyclopedia With Full Wikipedia - Preloaded & Updateable!

Pros: Wikipedia at your fingertips while offline.

Cons: No search in article. No search inside article. Some information referred is missing.

Overall Review: Bought for my parents to look up information for crossword puzzles. Easy enough for my 70+ year old parents to use. Be prepared to do a lot of scrolling. Some of the articles were missing tables. Tried to look up Olympic metal winners, and the article referenced a table of event/winner/metal, but the space where the table should have been was blank. Also, would be nice if there was a "search in article" for a keyword, but all in all, a great device for $20.

Great for Geocaching

GARMIN 2.6" GPS Receiver
GARMIN 2.6" GPS Receiver

Pros: High sensitivity, replaceable AA batteries, easy to use interface

Cons: None that I can thing of.

Overall Review: Already have a Nuvi 200 for car navigation, and was using it for geocaching, but it was only approximate. (icon of a car overlapping a icon of a geocache will only get you in the ballpark) This GPS was awesome. Tried on the 3 geocaches I have looked for since I have bought this, it has put me within 4-6 feet of the geocache. It is easy to add geocaches from the website, and super quick and simple to look search for a cache.
