cheap / expensive keyboard

SIIG JK-WR0612-S1 Black 87 Normal Keys 9 Function Keys USB RF Wireless Mini Ultra Slim Multimedia Keyboard
SIIG JK-WR0612-S1 Black 87 Normal Keys 9 Function Keys USB RF Wireless Mini Ultra Slim Multimedia Keyboard

Pros: It did everything I wanted it to do and more. It's a great keyboard to have for media lovers and a great cheap retail price.

Cons: There is no ON/Off switch so it eats up the batteries every 1 - 2 weeks so in the end I spent more money on batteries than the actual keyboard. It started dying about 7 months after I bought it. Some of the keys just stopped working, and if it's a hot day, some of the keys stick the down position. It finally went completely dead on me about 2 months ago.

Overall Review: If your looking for a wireless keyboard get one with the ON/Off switch. The battery will last close to 8 -10 months.

Pros: It's great when it works.

Cons: It got a "Barney" virus after 2 weeks of purchase ( it's where your screen turns purple) and you have to un-install and then re-install to fix it. This I found, was caused by over-heating. So I bought a dual fan with blower to take away the over-heating issue. It worked just great after that. Finally, about 5 months later it did the "Barney" virus again and it just went out on me completely. Also, at the time I purchased it, there was no warranty available for it. Now, there is, but I can't do anything about that.

Overall Review: If I didn't have this issue, I would have kept it.
