Good drive
Pros: 1. Pretty large for these days 2. Inexpensive 3. No firmware upgrade is needed 4. Laptop is much quieter after HDD->SSD upgrade 5. 1 month of ownership - no issues.
Cons: 1. Slower than other SSDs on the market 2. Few hiccups during installation
Overall Review: I am using this drive on SATA II laptop (Dell Studio 15), so slower controller is not an issue. Boot time is about 10-15 sec, wake up from hibernation is about 5 sec. During installation process, it was impossible to format drive in usb enclosure. I have to use e-sata enclosure, then put drive into laptop. On the first day it reported 7 raw read errors (which scared me) but then no issues detected. Benchmark (HD Tune) reports that transfer rate is just 50% faster than WD Scorpio Blue (~125MB/sec) but access rate is much much better (<0.1msec)
Does not take off
Pros: N/A
Cons: Copter spins on the floor, does not take off. Lower blades does not spin at all.
Excellent choise for low power systems
Pros: Quiet. I am using this fan for celeron based system, fanless AGP card and couple add-on cards inside MATX In-Win case (instead of original fan). No problem with temperature even if system is 100% loaded.
Cons: Price?
Overall Review: It is not prime fan for gaming system but might be good choise as second (intake) fan
