Works as intended

Pros: Sleek, small , just plug it in and go.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I see other reviews about this unit not syncing up at a gig. I personally bought two of these have them daisy chained (different areas of the house) and they work flawlessly. I do have an issue with my Asus P5K-E marvell chipset syncing up. Oddly it syncs up at a gig and passes 64byte packets no problem, when I pass anything that requires the fragment bit to set the marvell chipset chokes on it. Have another PC running the Intel chipset running the exact same test thru the exact same port and no issues... I believe the reviewers here are likely blaming this unit for other vendors issues.
Avoid - worked for 6 months then died

Pros: No external power required. Small and has nice stand to make it easy to setup on desk next to you.
Cons: Delicate. USB mini connector doesn't hold cable.
Overall Review: Mini USB connector from day one really didn't hold cable tightly. Spent first hour after receiving product trying to get it recognized by win8.1. Pushed the cable in on the back about another 1/16th of inch... presto started working. Four months later win8.1 stopped detecting the drive. Moved to my win7 machine which recognized it but as soon as I didn't anything but list the directories the drive would disappear (reboot) and a couple minutes later reappear. Wont recognize any blank disks anymore. RMA started today.
Run Away....

Pros: Plenty of space.
Cons: Died with less than 6 months of use.
Awesome

Pros: Easy to install. Quiet and cool. Keeps my 5 WD10EADS 1TB drives running at 27-30C under full load. Had the array writing at 82mb/s sec and reading at 260mb/s for 72hrs straight drives never reached 31c. This unit keeps the drives inline and tight... removal/reinsertion is painless.
Cons: As mentioned by other reviewers the leds on this unit are bright beyond compare... nothing a little electrical tape can't calm.
XP no go

Pros: While I knew this was for Vista/MCE I thought I could get it to work with XP. While I could get the remote recognized I it never would respond to key-presses. The good news is MythTV loves this remote.. by winblows :)
Cons: The record button is flush as others mention, but even my fat fingers can press it without tools if I try hard enough.
Overall Review: For the price its worth every penny.
Its cheap, it works.

Pros: Sleek, responsive and works as intended.
Cons: None
Overall Review: The max. range I can get on this unit is 9'. Guess that's typical.. but would like another 3' so I don't have to get off the couch to change shows on the 42" plasma :)
