Great ram horrible packaging
Pros: Bios set the ram timing at 2.5-3-2-5, the ram runs fine at cas 2 after changing it in the bios. This stuff runs really fast and really stable.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Packaging was horrible. This was my first bad experience of any kind with newegg. The plastic package popped open and the ram was outside the packaging and the bubble wrap on the bottom of the cardboard box. Thankfully it wasn't damaged.
Hard to Apply
Pros: Works as well as the best thermal compounds at a fraction of the price.
Cons: Absolute pain to apply. It doesn't like to stick to the processor or the heatsink. The supplied template only works on coolers with a large base. The templates makes application much easier and ensures you have a consistent layer of thermal compound. Therefore if you have a heat pipe coler with a small base it is very hard to apply and almost impossible to get a consistent layer of thermal compound.
Overall Review: Saving some money isn't worth the hassle
Great SFF Case
Pros: Light Weight, sturdy when assembled, low cost, good power supply so far, and comes with all the options you would expect from a mid-tower case.
Cons: Some people have reported power supply problems, but i have no compplaints about the several I've purchased.
Overall Review: For people that complaing about the case's durability hear this: this is marketed as a light weight SFF aluminum case. Aluminum is less durable then steel i.e. it is more maleable. Therefore, be gentle and don't expect to take it apart and put it together alot without seeing some wear and tear. And for those that manage to scratch the windows there is a reason a plastic coating comes standard. Remove them after installation. Overall this is a great case that can hold enough hardware for a moderate gaming system, home theatre system, or every day PC.
A Sad Day
Pros: Great processor even before the price cuts. Easily overclockable to match more expensive X2s and handles multi-tasking very well.
Cons: I've been a huge AMD junkie since I bought my first K7 years ago. Finally Intel has the upper hand with the Conroe.
Overall Review: If you want performance wait on the Conroe. If you're an AMD loyalist like myself just wait and hope they manage to revolutionize processing yet again.
Great value and Performance
Pros: I have used Samsung for years and they have increasingly become one of the best electronics producers both in quality and in price this burner is no exception.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Lightscribe is a hassle stick to using a SHARPIE®.
Great Price and Performance
Pros: Great price, great performance. I have used Seagate SATA 150 exclusively since the first month it was available, and a single drive has yet to let me down
Cons: None.
Overall Review: For naysayers out there there is a definate difference between a single drive and RAID 0 in gaming load times. Just make sure you get a dependable brand to prevent drive failures.
