This review is from: Antennas Direct C2VCJM ClearSteam 2V Long Range VHF/UHF DTV Antenna w/CJ Mount
Pros: I just installed this antenna yesterday so I can't give to much of an opinion on this.
I just canceled my DirecTV on Friday and I wanted to get local channels. Unfortunately I didn't buy this antenna from Newegg (because I wanted to get it immediately, so I paid about $25 more from the big blue box store).
I took the Coax cable from the satellite dish and reused it for the antenna.
It took me a couple hours to re-route the cable and install the antenna. As soon as I got it hooked up and ran the Channel Scan, it found about 40 channels. I live about 30 miles from Rochester, NY and 60 miles from Syracuse, NY and I get channels crystal clear from both cities.
It probably helps that I have the antenna mounted about 30 feet from the ground outside, and that I have a pretty clear opening with no trees that are in the way.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: If you want to receive local channels with an antenna and don't need it right away, Newegg has the best price on this unit.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Obihai OBI100 VoIP Telephone Adapter with Google Voice & SIP
Pros: Works good. Free home phone with Google Voice.
Cons: Nothing to complain about when you get free home phone.
Other Thoughts: If you want 9-1-1 you have to pay extra. But the price for it is not expensive, no different than when its on a regular phone or cell phone bill. I have used this for faxing.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cheap. Not a lot of heat. Can overclock. Have mine running at 3.6GHz on stock cooler. Works great for HTPC.
Cons: Not a gaming processor. Can't run Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare very well. Game freezes with both built in graphics and also using with a dedicated video card (ASUS GeForce GT 640 DirectX 11 GT640-2GD3 2GB 128-Bit DDR3). Its definitely not my ASUS card because the game runs great with the card on my Core I7-2600K.
Other Thoughts: As stated in the title, its good for HTPC or general PC use. Or maybe even some basic games that are not graphic intensive.
Like what others said, getting Windows 10 running with this processor is a pain. But once you get it figured out, it works fine.
Processor only good to 1333MHz ram. I do have my memory running at 1400MHz, so it may also depend on you MB.
