This review is from: Logitech G930 USB Connector Circumaural Wireless Gaming Headset
Pros: -Wireless. The freedom of a wireless headset cannot be overstated. I can walk anywhere in my house and still remain in contact with whoever I'm talking to in my games.
-Battery Life. The headset claims to have 10 hours of play time per charge. So far I am getting between 9-10 solid hours and I'm very satisfied. Another positive in my book is the warning you get through the headset when the battery is running low. Nothing is worse in my eyes than being right in the middle of a game and the headset dying without warning (this option can be turned off through the software if you don't want to hear it).
-Software. The free gaming software which is easily downloaded from Logitech's website adds a decent amount of customization. The three programmable keys can pretty much do whatever you want them to. The surround sound settings can also be catered to your liking.
-Comfortable. The combination of the lightweight design and super comfortable ear muffs make this perfect for extended gaming sessions.
-Muting. Really simple but in addition to pressing the mute button on the side of the headset, you can simply push the mic boom into the upright position to mute it instead.
-Voice playback through speakers. By far the biggest pro for me. It is an absolute must have and would have lost at least one egg on the review if it didn't have it. Simply go into the software turn on voice preview and set the side tone to your desired level. For anyone who may not know what this is, the voice playback lets you hear your own voice when you talk, so you don't have to talk as loud to hear yourself. Very simple yet essential for any headset I'm going to use.
Cons: None that I've noticed so far.
Other Thoughts: I read a few reviews that mentioned wireless interference. Believe me I have just as much or more wireless items in my house being used as the next guy, and I've had absolutely no issues with interference.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Diablo II BattleChest PC Game
Pros: Sadly, I never got to play this game back in it's day. I've recently been on a quest to get a bunch of the older PC games that were great for their time that I didn't get to play. Diablo II is every bit as great as it's hyped up to be. Like the players who had the game when it first came out, I simply can't stop playing it.
Cons: If you have Windows 7, you have to go in properties and change a few things to get it to run. Not really a con in my book, but I just felt like it was worth mentioning to people who were considering buying it.
Other Thoughts: I got the free 4-7 day shipping, and it was here in two. Gotta love Newegg.READ FULL REVIEW
