Bang For The Buck
Pros: This is a good case for the money and the styling although somewhat Mac influenced is very nice. I have built with other more expensive abit sturdier cases but honestly once the system is finished, it sits on the floor... it does't go on cruises or out on dates. The thickness of the the side panels doesn't matter. I guess others use their cases to stand on or support their cars during oil changes!! Speaking of sitting on floors, I like the fact this case is raised off the floor so no more "dust bunnies" inside! Plenty of room for my 3 hardrives, dual 8800 gt video cards, Soundblaster and custom cooling on vc & cpu. MSI motherboard fit perfectly. Some of the reviews on ths case are just wrong and need correction...i.e IT HAS FRONT USB AND AUDIO PORTS, they are under a hidden door. There is a space for another fan in the front if you pop off the front panel (easy to do with just your fingers). Decent cooling. I'm digging this case and would recommend it for an inexpensive mid tower.
Cons: I didn't use the power supply but it looks and feels cheap (but that can be expected at this price point). Instructions are below average. Some of the side panels edges are exposed so they can cut you if you aren't careful.
Overall Review: Again...I like the look, I like the price point and I think the case is well designed for a inexpensive mid tower. Buy a spray can of clear high gloss and paint the case before installation for that Mac look. Yes...there are front USB and Audio ports!
Mac Look Knockoff
Pros: Most Mac-ish looking case that I could find about 1 year ago. Yes it is thin metal and it's smaller than a typical mid-tower but I run dual video cards, three hardrives & an after market CPU cooler tower with everything fitting fine! No issues with the CD drive doors not working. Good for the money-would buy another.
Cons: Thin metal edges are very sharp...handle w/ care!! Case fan is noisy.
Overall Review: Wish it had larger fans for cooling. Didn't use the case's psu.
Awesome Deal
Pros: Bought this for the t-shirt and got the video card as a bonus. Shirt fits well and is cool when I run. Nvidia shirts aren't as cool.
Cons: Chics don't dig the shirt as much as I thought.
Overall Review: Have fun
Great Style, Quality Case
Pros: The design from a visual sense is great, still the best except for a few Mac's. Easy access from both sides. Lots of cooling. Very high quality construction. Nice screwless drive connectors. Good value for the $$$.
Cons: Very poor manual. "Hidden" drawer has all the pieces but you have to hunt for the drawer. Not the easiest nor the most difficult case I've worked with.
Overall Review: I wasn't able to figure out how to connect my SB audio card to the front headphone/mic jacks because Spire's diagram & Creative's wiring differ. Contacted Spire but they never responded with an answer. Also not a fan of "swing" front door panels. Overall I would recommend this case to experienced builders.
