Windows 8.1
Pros: I like that it doesn't take a day to upload and on startup loads fast. The interface is different, but easy to get use to. I tend to use the Desktop window most of the time anyway. Better than Windows 7 in most respects if you are flexible to change.
Cons: My version has no DVD player. I think you have to get Windows Pro or Media Center edition. You can find free third party DVD players online, however.
A MUST HAVE
Pros: 290x Fast and powerful. Great price point in comparison to the 780TI. I just couldn't see forking out $700 for the Nvidia. I went from ATi to Nvidia, to another Nvidia, but now it's AMD Radeon's turn. My computer's main game is Battlefield 4, so it made more sense to get this GPU. I hope AMD Mantle system comes through...that was another factor. I was hoping third party cards with better coolers were coming out, but it was taking to long. So, I went with this. I did get a GELID cooler just in case, but haven't used it yet.
Cons: So is noisy? Well, I'm use to keep my fans up high and I do wear a good headset, so for me it's fine. I doesn't bother me. Does it run hot? Well, again in terms of AMD's recommend range for the card, it runs where it should...80's to in the 90's for me. The thing to be concerned about is how the heat effects the other componets in the case. So far no issues. All temps are where they need to be. My case has a 120mm in the front and 120mm for exhaust and side vents. It creates a nice wind tunnel effect. Also, I have an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro on the CPU.
Overall Review: Pay attention to the overall cooling of your case.
Awesome Fast
Pros: Fast, Fast, Fast. I have this on my gaming rig. No more waiting for maps and levels to load. It's not in a blink of an eye, but it's awfully fast. I read the PRO drive version is slightly faster and longer longevity, but the price of this out weighed the PRO's slightly better features...and what I've read it really is slight. No moving parts makes it silent and little to no heat. Nice.
Cons: None.
Great RAM
Pros: Runs like it should on my gaming rig. Picked it because of all the great feedback from this product, and an OK price.
Cons: none
Awesome
Pros: My computer is strictly for gaming so the i5-4670k was the right choice for me. I really have no need for the Hyper Threading features of the i7 yet. And I got the i5 "K" because I will overclock at some point.
Cons: none.
Overall Review: Alway have purchased Intel.
More impressed than I thought
Pros: 2 Nice Red LED Fans. Like Firey red...NOT pinkish. Not as loud as I imagined. I am use to some noise because I prefer a cool gaming computer vs a hot one so the fans are really spinning!!! Very happy with them.
Cons: None.
