Big leap from a EVGA GTX 285

MSI GeForce GTX 680 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N680GTX-PM2D2GD5
MSI GeForce GTX 680 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N680GTX-PM2D2GD5

Pros: Can run everything I have on absolute max settings with buttery smooth gameplay @ 1920 x 1200 on a 24" LCD (Gateway FHD2400). This has allowed me to replay Skyrim in an entirely new way, and I can't stress that enough, with a few graphic mods via Steam and the official High-Res pack followed by all graphics maxed? It is literally awe inspiring, you aren't just watching it for a few minutes then lowering your settings, you are actually playing the whole game like this. It runs cooler then my old GTX 285, it is significantly smaller.

Cons: There is no cons really, a 700 series will release at some point within a year or so, but games are currently hindered by the console leg-weight cursing pc developers due to cross-platform releases being required to profit acceptably. This means dated tech for our PC games, in which case we are seeing cards that can handle everything and are in a holding pattern until Playstation 4, or Xbox 720 (?) releases and the whole industry moves up on the median for graphics capability to design around.
