Most Favorable Review

Another fine product.

Creative 70SB088000004 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Express 1x Interface PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium

Pros: Sound Blaster still rocks to this day. I remember purchasing my first 8bit card back in 94' for a whopping $169.00 to play a little Wolfenstein and Rise of the triad. I loved their cards then and I am still a loyal Creative fan. This card is as good as it gets if you want realistic gaming sounds and high quality music output.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I have this hooked to a pair of Creative DTS 2500 speakers which they discontinued years ago, but the sound generated by a 100% Creative based output is phenomenol. Nuff Said!

Not too bad.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior PC Game
Sniper: Ghost Warrior PC Game

Pros: The game is not too bad for your average FPS game. The graphics are fairly nice and the weapons are well done. Coolest effect of course is the bullet time when you line up a head shot. Good for casual gamers but hard core first person shooters should just look else where.

Cons: AI - Leaves you wanting to say the least.

Overall Review: Wait till it hits the bargain bin and you won't be disappointed.

Great while it lasted.

Rosewill RNX-N180UBEv3 - Wireless High Gain N300 Wi-Fi Adapter - IEEE 802.11b/g/n, (2T2R), Up to 300 Mbps Data Rates, USB 2.0 Cradle, 5 dBi High Power Antenna
Rosewill RNX-N180UBEv3 - Wireless High Gain N300 Wi-Fi Adapter - IEEE 802.11b/g/n, (2T2R), Up to 300 Mbps Data Rates, USB 2.0 Cradle, 5 dBi High Power Antenna

Pros: While it was working the connection rates were superb. The utility auto launches and verifies connection to your router and gives you a readout of signal strength. The cord was just the right length and the base was heavy and stable. I like the two part base where the actual adapter can be removed and plugged directly into the laptop.

Cons: Stopped working about 3 weeks after I had it. The device is in the device manager, shows no flags or issues, the utility continues to run, but it just won't find my router anymore. Haven't tried to RMA yet but probably will, just haven't had time yet.

Overall Review: I've used other Rosewill products in the past have never been diasppointed until now. Hopefully Rosewill will correct the quality control issues they are experiencing with this particular product. New Egg Rocks!

Buyer Beware!

GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD3-B3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: None!

Cons: Everything started out fine first boot recognized everything and loaded windows. After an hour of loading apps and setting up windows to work my way. BSOD, BSOD, BSOD, BSOD, BSOD. I would get the blue screen then have to turn off power supply and discharge before getting it to come back up just to meet with the same issue just before windows reached the desktop.

Overall Review: New Egg sent me a replacement and I had the same issues with the new board. Returned the second board to New Egg for a refund and got a replacement Asrock which is awesome. Thanks NEWEGG for always being there for your customers it's refreshing to know there are still people out their who care about their customers.

Asrock Rocks!

ASRock P67 PRO3 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock P67 PRO3 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: This is my first experience with Asrock products and I must say it is quite impressive. The board is rock solid, well laid out and more than worth the money. I like the fact that the Sata ports are at the bottom corner where the drives would reside in the case, the Front Panel IO connections are not hindered by the commonly placed plastic shroud and are also well labeled. I really found it refreshing that Asrock takes advantage of all the standoff points being utilized in the mounting of the motherboard, this makes for a very stable base in which to mount everything else too. I like the color pattern and the fact that the back plate was asthetically pleasing. UEFI is clearly the future and I hope it is here to stay. Setup within the interface is straight forward and intuitive. A all around good product.

Cons: I had a small issue originally with slow boots but later found it was due to a software issue.

Overall Review: Purchase. You won't be disappointed.

Finally!

ASUS VH242HL-P Black 23.6" 5ms HDMI Widescreen Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor w/height & swivel adjustment 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000 :1 Built in Speakers
ASUS VH242HL-P Black 23.6" 5ms HDMI Widescreen Full HD 1080P LCD Monitor w/height & swivel adjustment 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000 :1 Built in Speakers

Pros: Finally a monitor with height adjustment that travels accross a broad range. This thing gets so high my wife has to get a ladder to lower it. I am very tall and sitting at the desk I am currently using was killing my neck when viewing my old 22" Samsung. This thing gets up to a more than comfortable range for anyone out their who is over 6' 5" or so. The color is wonderful and the performance in gaming is superb. Definite must have for general user or hard core gamers.

Cons: Not really a con but I don't believe that monitor speakers will ever be worth mentioning in the advertisement for a monitor.

Overall Review: First experience with ASUS displays and they did not dissappoint. Thanks ASUS.
