Pros: I purchased this monitor at a brick and mortar store so that I could set up my laptop in a desktop configuration. I chose this monitor for reviews and value. The picture is very crisp, and it came with no dead pixels. The menu is pretty easy to navigate, as is tweaking the color/contrast etc... although I'm not heavily into a perfect picture. I typically tweak very little with my monitors, often choosing a factory setting and tweaking it only slightly.
Cons: My monitor turns off at random times. I turned off all power saver features and it still does it. Even if it's receiving an active signal (playing a game or watching video), it simply turns off as if I've hit the power switch. I have yet to determine the cause of this though to be fair I haven't contacted AOC or searched for the problem in any depth. Also, for about the past 2 weeks it seems as if my picture will randomly dim and then brighten itself after a short time. This could be due to my cats walking on the base (the power and menu buttons are easily pressed and manipulated). A setting could have been changed... again it would be my fault since I haven't check the settings.
Other Thoughts: Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase. I got this monitor for a few dollars cheaper than available here and it's proven its worth so far. As all the other reviews have said, it IS quite flimsy, but don't mistake that as fragile.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Belkin F9K1102 N600 Wireless Dual-Band N+ Router
Pros: Purchased this router as an upgrade/replacement for an older model router I had so I would have decent speeds to play Xbox Live as well as stream video online. I've owned this router over a year now. For the first 6 - 8 months it performed admirably. My speeds were decent, the open NAT worked very well with Xbox Live, and overall it was issue free.
Cons: After that 6-8 month period it would start dropping its connection randomly. The blue light would flash and it would usually pick up the connection and transmit again. It would do this whether I was actively using my network or my network was idle. I moved to another state in the August '12 time frame and set it up as it had been before my move. Since then, it will randomly power down even while plugged in. My modem is on the same outlet/surge protector and remains lit and connected at all times. I have to physically remove the A/C plug and plug it back in to restore power. It typically doesn't go more than a day or two before this needs to be done. Occasionally this may need to be done several times a day. I can be streaming a Netflix movie and it will lose its connection or power done completely. I also seem to have lost my 5GHz transmission. I've checked the router and updated the firmware and ensured that the 5GHz band is check marked and transmitting but I receive nothing.
Other Thoughts: While I haven't had issues with Belkin problems before, the issues I am dealing with now (dropping connections while in an active Xbox Live match etc...) are unacceptable and I've decided to try another manufacturer when I am able to update and upgrade my home network.READ FULL REVIEW
