Pros: Nice board.. pretty much everything I need.

Cons: I'm having problems with this board freezing up. Everything is still powered on but the monitor stops receiving a signal and everything freezes. Not like an OS issue. I've checked my logs and I have zero fatal errors. I've re-installed my OS (Vista 64bit) and replaced RAM (G.Skill), GPU (ATI and NVidia) and PSU (600W OCZ and 750W Cosair) to figure out that it's the board that is the issue. I've done about everything that I can think of.

Overall Review: I've also re-seated the CPU (AMD Phenom II X4 945), reseated all of my cables and added more case fans for good measure even though nothing was running hot. I've worked through all of this with several friends that troubleshoot hardware issues on a daily basis and we've all come to the conclusion that the motherboard is the likely culprit.

Pros: I'm done typing anything good about this board or Asus in general.

Cons: Well I've sent this thing in for RMA twice now and I just received it back again today with a note saying that it tested fine and that the BIOS was updated and that they just wrapped it back up after that and sent it back. The BIOS was updated before it was sent out. So, I'm not sure what to think about that. I just installed it and it's doing EXACTLY the same thing that it has always done. SURPRISE! It freezes after being up for about 6-8 hours. I'll be calling to get yet another RMA tomorrow.

Overall Review: If you RMA something with ASUS have them provide a shipping bill for you. Don't pay to send it in, they'll pay and they should have to. I got a call from a friend I shared this situation with asking me if what model # my board was because he had one doing the exact same thing.. guess what? EXACT SAME MODEL!

Pros: Nice board, great features.

Cons: Freezes up after about 1-8 hours of being on. I've RMA'd this once now and got back the same board, I assume the 'fixed' something but I'm still having the exact same problems. The Gigabyte board I bought to put in my PC while the ASUS was out on RMA was up for over 5 weeks straight with no problems. Im fact I waited a few weeks to even install the RMA return from ASUS because of this. Well now it's installed and here we go again. I've read through some replies on here and I'll tell you what if my soundcard didn't hate that Gigabyte card I'd just stick with it and use the ASUS as a backup. I guess I'm looking for a replacement from ASUS now, hopefully with a good BIOS since I see a review here where some people went through the same process I'm looking at, just to end up with a new board with a bad BIOS... great. Overall Review: It's Christmas day and I JUST put this thing together. Looks like I get to tear it all back down again and put my Gigabyte mobo back in. Which means that after I get ANOTHER ASUS board that I get to tear it down yet again. This is the first time I've ever had to deal with a bad motherboard. The thought of having to tear this thing apart and re-route cables yet again really makes me unhappy.

Pros: Very nice board. Love the DDR3 support and all the goodies.

Cons: I've had problems with my PC freezing since this new build. It stays powered on but the monitor goes black and everything stops working. It seemed like a problem with my RAM (G.Skill) so I tested it, it tested fine. So, I bought more RAM (G.Skill), pulled the old and ran the new for awhile, it didn't help. So, next I tried swapping my ASUS EN9500GT GPU for a SAPPHIRE HD 4650 thinking it might be the GPU, nope. Thought maybe it was an overheating issue so I fired up Speedfan and everything is fine. I installed 2 additional chassis fans for good measure anyways. Next I moved on to my PSU. I replaced my 600W OCZ PSU with a Corsair TH750W. Still having the same problem. It's taken a considerable amount of money to troubleshoot this and buy new pieces to get to where I am with the same problem persisting. I also tried an OS (Vista 64bit) re-install and I've re-seated the CPU and every cable a couple of times now.

Overall Review: It seems like all that can be left is the motherboard. I'm hoping ASUS will RMA this board as it seems to be all that is left other than the CPU.

Pros: Works great in my back-up PC.

Cons: Will not work in my main PC. This card has issues with some motherboards. It was mentioned in another review but he stated the brand of motherboard it was. I assumed it was an issue with just that brand. I'm not going to mention the brand of my motherboard. Just don't chance it on this card.

Overall Review: I'd RMA this card but I need my backup PC to be back online. This is the last video card I buy here. I'd rather have the option of returning it locally. This card and a Sapphire from Newegg has died on me now.
