buy a better fan

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Socket AM3 125W Processor - HDZ965FBGMBOX
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Socket AM3 125W Processor - HDZ965FBGMBOX

Pros: fast. this cpu flies. I havent had a cpu this fast before i had a headless ubuntu vbox fuppes server running on windows 7 and downloading torrents, and running metro 2033 with no slow downs, same with fallout 3. streaming media to my ps3 never slowed down either while i was playing games and downloading.

Cons: one thing is the fan......it screams my girlfriend thought it was our refrigerator(old refrigerator) thats how loud it was....i replaced it with a noctua NH-U12P SE2....only thing you hear now is a soft hum from the 8800gts.....getting replaced soon

Overall Review: this is a solid cpu and you need a different fan if noise bothers you......its just loud

Maybe Last rosewill we buy

Rosewill JET Black Wired Optical Mouse - RGM-300
Rosewill JET Black Wired Optical Mouse - RGM-300

Pros: Nice Mouse, Fits my wife's hand really well, lights up and matches her case which is also a rosewill. the dpi switch is nice. it was cheap. braided cord

Cons: my wife said even with all the weights in it it was rather light. not a huge con but whats the point in weights if not to make it heavier. the one we received looked like it had been returned repackaged and sent to us, it had a gouge out of the side and was a little dirty on the buttons(this is why I only gave it 3 eggs).

Overall Review: all in all not a bad mouse but the fact we received a used mouse when we paid full price for a new mouse is unacceptable. only reason we don't return it for a new one is I don't want to pay shipping when I shouldn't have received a used mouse to begin with. this to my knowledge is the third rosewell product, while they all perform well I probably wont buy rosewell again after this.

client mode is no go.

EDIMAX EW-7416APn Wireless Range Extender / Access Point
EDIMAX EW-7416APn Wireless Range Extender / Access Point

Pros: easy setup, the price. when it wants to work it works great.

Cons: the first 2 months i had this it worked great, but after that its been a pain. first i have it setup in client mode so i can have my 360 use it for playing online and streaming movies. about every month if not every 2 weeks now i have to set it up again and again and again, I've gotten to the point where i don't bother with it and stream movies through my ps3's slower connection. I contacted edimax but they are no help they just tell me how to reset it, and that never resets it. i updated the firmware and that doesn't help. Funny I've never had this kinda problem with netgear or linksys

Overall Review: i honestly thought it would have been a better product seeing as i have a wireless N pci-e card in my pc and that works awesome. wont buy a wirless AP from them again.

Disappointed and a waste

GIGABYTE GA-880GM-UD2H AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-880GM-UD2H AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: well while it worked its was pretty good and worked flawless it was the main focus of my HTPC i loved all the features.....for about 6 months

Cons: after 6 months had nothing but problems with this board, it boot once and said the bios was corrupt and loaded from the backup, a week later it would randomly shut off and then sit at the boot screen and not POST. another time it randomly restarted its self and said there was an error caused by over clocking when its not OC'd. later before it stopped working all together it would freeze and get pixelated graphics while i was watching movies on XBMC then it would never POST. after spending 2 weeks emailing gigabyte back and fourth and them telling me to try things i already tried and i explained that in the emails to them and got no where. so i RMA'd it back to them and all i got was an email saying they recivec it and 2 weeks later got an email saying they sent it back. when it finally arrived there was no note of what was done if anything just a note that said if it wont POST it was an issue with the hardware config....the only hardware used that wasnt the boards was the CPU, RAM, HDD

Overall Review: (Con't from cons) so i pop it in the case set it all up and now part of the screen cant be seen using the HDMI onboard video, and now its randomly restarting again and wont post. this product and the service i received from Gigabyte has made me very cautious of buying anything from GigaByte again. wasted $90 next one will be a MSI or ASUS.
