Great PSU!
Pros: Modular, quiet, wrapped cables, lots of cables/plugs, little pouch to keep extra cables.
Cons: none so far really. the pci-e power cables could maybe be a bit longer
Overall Review: Works well, and is nice and quiet. Keeps the system nice and tidy being modular. Love it.
Works, but couple things to note
Pros: Works. Pretty fast. comes with low profile adapter if you need it. Small card.
Cons: had to use driver CD which may be an issue if you don't have an optical drive.
Overall Review: I installed this thing and i went online to try and find the most current driver for it, but couldn't find one that worked. Had to use the one on the included disc, which for some people may be an issue if you don't have an optical drive. Aside from that though, it works and it seems pretty quick. Not exactly "10x faster" as advertised, more like 5-6 times faster. I did a rudimentary test, transferring some video files to a usb 3.0 capable portable hard drive, both writing to and reading from. I transferred the exact same folder of files in both directions both via USB 2 and USB 3. USB 2 gave me ~22MB/sec when writing TO the portable HDD. and ~33MB/sec writing FROM the portable hdd. USB 3 gave me ~110MB/sec when writing TO the portable HDD and ~115MB/sec writing FROM the portable hdd. So it's definitely fast, dunno how that compares to other cards. Other things to note: the card does not have internal pins for hooking up case mounted USB 3.0 ports. Also, USB 3.0 cards need power, so you'll need to run a cable from your PSU directly to the card, so make sure you have the right cable around.
great set of RAM
Pros: Triple channel, 1600mhz, heat spreaders, works as supposed to
Cons: none
Overall Review: i had to set the timing manually in the mobo bios to have it running optimally, but otherwise it's a perfect set of ram. I'm considering buying another set to run 12gb.
