Sar Far So Good

Pros: It's an LG, it works. I bought my wife the gold one and she likes it. Solid construction, lots of memory.
Cons: If for once I would love to receive a plug for living in the United States. Supposedly this came from California which is IN the United States and shipped to a United States address and yet STILL they send me a charger from the United Kingdom. Aside from that, it was sent through the US Mail that left it in my mail box instead of something that should be signed for. The free Battery Backup is a useless item and I would rather the cost of the phone be reduced to match the gold version. The only difference is the paint job which is covered up by a case anyway.
Overall Review: I would rather have this than a Samsung any day. My last Galaxy S7 was not only locked the bootloader so it couldn't have a rooted custom rom the WIFI broke by some software means. Then they have the gall to keep you from resetting the phone if you give it away because the original owner has to sign in for it to be useful. So in essence I have an $800 Samsung coaster. LG at least still cares about it's customers and not it's bottom dollar. A great Tip...NEVER buy from a cell phone provider unless you absolutely have to. They have permanent bloatware, brand their name on YOUR phone as well as being unlocked you can sell or change providers much more easily. Just buy a brand name because these independent names will never provide you with an update, right BLU?
DOA

Pros: When it works then it works.
Cons: Dead on Arrival but not just one. 6 Enterprise level drives dead in the mail After I reorder from a different vendor and change to the PRO version five work and one was dead. SERIOUSLY! That is 7 dead drives from Segate but not some long ago old IDE drive but professional NAS drives that cost a small fortune.
Overall Review: I have twelve drives that worked from day one in my old NAS. I have had them for years and all Seagate. These newer drives were a headache and caused another brain buster for the vendor's that sold them to me. This should not happen when businesses are relying on things to go right. If I am running a business and pay that extra amount for professional then you should get exactly that but instead I received several dead drives. Not one or two but SEVEN within a 4 week period and from two different vendors. 16 Terabyte NAS drives from Seagate dead on arrival.
Proprietary M2...REALLY!

Pros: It works like all other Synology NAS boxes.
Cons: It is to knew to give you any special CON. Forces you to accept settings that you do not want. I care less about the admin account being on because of MY ENVIRONMENT. Yet no matter what I do it pops up with a warning then it deactivates it itself. This automated, do it for your own good, world has to stop. Once I buy something it is mine...That goes for my phone and Car but for some reason boundaries have no meaning in today's existence and will effect my future purchases exactly like not telling me about the proprietary M2 slots. Don't say they are M2 then only work when they are Synology M2.
Overall Review: For the price it is very particular on what you can use in drives. Exactly what are you getting for that extra high price other than the CPU and it has a 10G port? 10G should be standard already and the fact that it can take an M2 which is THEIR M2 for an SSD should also be standard. Like I said THEIR M2, THEIR overprices M2 SSD drive. Why? Is it proprietary like some other products that just want to sell you one more thing? They couldn't get away with the hard drives but they can with the M2 and at this price with non refundable it would have been nice to have known this in a review. So, I also have to put my star or EGG high enough so my review goes through because they want this to sell so reviews don't really count right? I have written many one eggs just to have them rejected on high end items.
2ND TIME WRITING THIS

Pros: NONE!
Cons: All 6 drives DOA. Either techsavers sent me 6 bad drives on purpose or Seagate decided to sell bad drives and hope for the best so you figure it out. Movements after I get my refund I went back to NEWEGG in order to buy replacements because of the urgency. Out of the 6 NEW drives one is DOA. Like what the H! Seagate is hit and miss. I have had Segate NAS drives in my main Synology for years with zero problems then once these come out there are nothing but dead drives everywhere.
Overall Review: The censorship to protect business and product is outstanding around here. The whole point of reviews is to help make a decision and in the long run if you sell a bad product you are just making life worse with returns and shipping fees along with lost time. The review is to help both business and consumer in order to get the best product for the job. Censorship does nothing but drive businesses to other platforms just ask Google, Facebook and Am^^^^^^ Funny, you are not allowed to even say Am&&&&&& on this platform without the censors hitting you.
Still stuck in the past.

Pros: Plugs in and getting the software was fairly easy.
Cons: Software is nothing more than version 7 with a bit of updating but gets less channels. This tuner just tunes with no organization listing channels. I was not able to mix Analog and digital cable like I did in the past using my 950Q which broke within 7 months. No up and down for volume or channel select. Only received a small portion of the channels available. Took 4 times to get the software to install that included 4 times to activate. Software crashes. Told it to update and it said I was using 8 when I installed 8.5 and it kept sending me to the website to download 8.5.
Overall Review: Being as there are no software alternatives I suspect this is the reason for activation when in reality I have no idea who would want to steal such garbage. Get with the 21st century. You have the electronics but rely on programing techniques from 20 years ago. You would also think that the there would be a better control or control the program through wifi. There is no excuse for missing channels or being so sloppy when any TV can tune these in without some special box. What I did before with my 950Q was install the drivers and use Windows Media Center but Microsoft and their quest for greed removed WMC as of early Windows 8 and 7. It pains me that you just can't buy something and it just works. Join the 21st Century Hauppauge!
OK but nothing special

Pros: It is a higher end router that has good range. It has 3 bands instead of 2 It has a lot of CPU's to direct traffic.
Cons: I have to share my data to use any boost features...ANY...not some. So that means you get no boost in game or any other data unless you share your data with some third party company so that right there you can throw out the main selling point if you have privacy concerns. You would think they had their own boost technology but nope. Having 3 channels means nothing, it's not like you can combine them. It just means that you can use separate channels for many devices. I had to use the ASUS App for my phone to get to some of the advance features such as turning off the 2.4 radio because I don't use it.
Overall Review: For the 4 line model you can use 2 link aggregation for your NAS I haven't researched but I would suspect the 8 line model you can use 4 which would have been a better deal for me considering my NAS has 4 ports. The menu is pretty straight forward but this isn't for beginners or the average home user. Most people just stick with what the cable company proved but if you are like me then you have all your own equipment. Then again, I see no reason to use their USB or any other quick connect ports when you are forced to connect to some 3rd party company just to use any boost features.
I submitted one allready and I guess it was ignored.
I don't appreciate getting a Cell Phone with a United Kingdom Charger when it is sold in THE UNITED STATES and sent to a UNITED STATES address. Both phones were sent without a proper charger and that baloney of a free power useless power pack... Just drop the $5 off the price and sell it the same as the gold edition.
Broken Keyboard
Shipped with everything loose inside an over size box. The only thing tied down was the PC itself and that moved around during shipping. Keyboard, Mouse and Power Supply was just dropped in to the box with no wrapping or popcorn. I had to open the PC to reset the left side speaker which broke free. NO labeling on the box stating sensitive contents or Fragile. Scratched up surfaces due to items bouncing around. I have NO plans to buy from this shipper again until he gets his act straight. As a minimum, the computer does work for now.
Overpriced
I initially expected that the reason why I use newegg is the security and ability to resolve issues when dealing with Chinese sellers but after buying other product direct from China I have found that it is not worth the extra $50+ dollars in the cost. Most Chinese dealers will treat you fair for the repeat business. If they ask for copies of your Credit Card or do suspicious things then don't deal with them. Also the best way to deal with China is go through Paypal or better so you have a 3rd party to dispute charges. As far as OKSTATION they sent me the two phones that I purchased which costs around $50 each over buying them direct. I was expecting that paying that extra was going towards shipping then find out it's through regular mail. I have no problem with OKSTATION but when you buy Tablets, Phones or other electronics from China and go through these companies that give you the idea that they are exclusive then you will be charged out the nose for last years models.
