I don't know what everyone's problem is...

Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST3320613AS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Seagate BarraCuda 7200.11 ST3320613AS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Ridiculously fast, runs cool, made my computer much more responsive. It seems that whatever problematic batch some of these drives were from is gone. I couldn't be much happier. To be on the safe side, I'd definitely recommend this for a system drive, but maybe not the sole drive storing one's invaluable data until we are sure the issue is fixed.

Cons: I'm not a big fan of uncertainty when buying something, but I've had over 15 seagate drives and the only one that died was in a laptop that hit the floor so I went for it.

Overall Review: Glad I went for it.

Most Critical Review

Hit or miss

BYTECC BT-2000 USB (Male) to PS2 (Female) Adapter
BYTECC BT-2000 USB (Male) to PS2 (Female) Adapter

Pros: Inexpensive way to satisfy cravings to gamble and make it look like a 7 year old typed your emails.

Cons: 50% Failure rate judging by the two that I have purchased. I bought one many months ago that is still working, and the one I received two days ago only lasted for ~20 minutes.

Overall Review: Even the one that is still working has its quirks. I'll occasionally get a random mouse click or incorrect/extra letter when typing. I'm not really sure why I bought a second one after putting up with the first, but needless to say I regret it. I also don't feel like paying to send it back to get a replacement, when for an extra couple bucks I can try a different brand. I only gave it the second egg because of the valuable lesson this product taught me.

Greased Lightning

DANE-ELEC DA-SDM25-80G-N-T-MK 1.8" with 2.5" adapter SSD Migration Kit
DANE-ELEC DA-SDM25-80G-N-T-MK 1.8" with 2.5" adapter SSD Migration Kit

Pros: FAST. Brought a whole new level of speed to my Dell M4400. I was using a 7200rpm 320GB drive, but the trade off for speed is worth it, plus it comes with an external caddy to tag along your old drive.

Cons: I'm disappointed I didn't switch sooner. What this has done is make me want to put an SSD in every PC I have. That would be a pricey venture.

Overall Review: Makes a 2.26Ghz dual core laptop feel faster than a 3.2ghz Quad Core desktop.

Bummer.

Western Digital WD Green WD20EADS 2TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital WD Green WD20EADS 2TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Looks nice. Can impress anyone you show it to with it's bold "2TB" label on the top. Can take on 1.6 TB of data, once.

Cons: The drive failed on its second day of use. Now, don't get me wrong... I love WD hard drives and this is the first one that's not rated in Megabytes to have failed on me (last one was a 540MB). I wouldn't even be upset if i didn't have to negate part of the great deal I got on shipping the blasted thing to get replaced. It's not my fault it's dead, but I have to pay to get a new one.

Overall Review: If the second one is dead, then I may end up going to samsung... which would be bad for WD, since I buy a lot of hard drives.

Good, but not the best

JetWay JATOM-GM1-330-LF Intel Atom 330 Intel 945GC Flex ATX Motherboard / CPU Combo
JetWay JATOM-GM1-330-LF Intel Atom 330 Intel 945GC Flex ATX Motherboard / CPU Combo

Pros: Runs absolutely silently and is 100% stable. Is currently running Ubuntu 9.10 x64 and XP x64 without a sweat. Does not get loaded down easily by multiple tasks (good for being a server), but does not perform smoothly all the time when browsing the web with a bunch of open tabs. (not so good for being an everyday pc)

Cons: Could not overclock it, not one Mhz. I couldn't even underclock it. Attempting either would cause the board to reboot to a black screen and require the BIOS to be cleared via jumper (annoying). I have another board from another mfg. (Z***C) that hits over 2ghz reliably, so I know the potential is there.

Overall Review: All in all, makes for a great server board with its ability to accept expansion cards and produce no noise or heat.

Best case I've owned

NZXT CS-NT-PANZER-B PANZERBOX Black Welded Aluminum ATX Mid Tower with Dual 190mm Fans Computer Case
NZXT CS-NT-PANZER-B PANZERBOX Black Welded Aluminum ATX Mid Tower with Dual 190mm Fans Computer Case

Pros: I've built many computers over time and this is by far the most unique and clever case I've had the pleasure of using. Plenty of room to work inside, so long as your video cards are standard height. Surprisingly light considering how well built it is. Serves great as a gaming case, with plenty of airflow.

Cons: The only downsides to this case are that there are no 3.5" slots for a card reader (you could use the adapter, but it wouldn't look that great IMO) and that if you have a motherboard like mine that has built in fan speed control, it can slow the fans down so much that they stop entirely. I now have the fans set to run at full speed all the time, but for an office / general purpose pc that my not be ideal.

Overall Review: Great case that serves its purpose perfectly. The LEDs are a bit too bright for leaving the computer on when I go to bed, but thats just a personal preference. As long as you know what you want from this case, you won't go wrong.
