Great mouse so far

GIGABYTE GM-FORCE M7 THOR Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 6000 dpi Gaming Mouse
GIGABYTE GM-FORCE M7 THOR Black 5 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 6000 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: - The on-mouse buttons for adjusting sensitivity is fantastic! Convenient and easy to use. - Works on MacOSX (At the time of writing, the software doesn't support MacOSX, but the mouse is fine without it) - Shape of the top of the mouse fits my hand nicely and is much more comfortable than the cheap mouse I was using before - Decent price

Cons: - The sides of the mouse don't fit my hand too well - especially the right side. It's annoying enough that I may end up sanding that part down to fit my hand better.

Overall Review: - Cable and scroll wheel aren't as nice as some higher end mice, but I'd rather have the lower price for this mouse. I had some issues with skipping on my macbook pro. At first I thought it was a defect with the mouse, but then I realized it happened with other mice (but was less noticeable). Resetting my System Management Controller (SMC) from instructions on the apple support page worked like a charm.

Got what I ordered

Pros: Charges my laptop! Much cheaper than the computer manufacturer's replacement!

Cons: Runs warm (as most cheap chargers will). It does seem to be better than previous replacements I've gotten. On that note (previous replacements that is), these charger connectors have never lasted long for me. I can sometimes prolong the life with some soldering and heat tubing, but otherwise the wires in the connector break after about a year.

Overall Review: I'd say I put the cables under normal use: I'm pretty careful about how I position the laptop with the charger in so that I don't strain the cable. I occasionally (once or twice a month) wrap it into a .75' diameter loop to place it in my bag - that seems to give it the most wear. The blame for the weakness of the connector is really HP's fault - with a better design, it'd be a lot easier to have a more durable connector.

OKGEAR 10" SATA 6 Gbps Cable, Straight to Right Angle W/ Metal Latch, Backward Compatible 3 Gbps and 1.5 Gbps

Pros: Nice color. It also works fine

Cons: Bit pricey for a cable. Also a bit shorter than I was expecting... (even though it's labelled)

Finally have an SSD - very nice

OCZ Vertex 4 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) VTX4-25SAT3-64G
OCZ Vertex 4 2.5" 64GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) VTX4-25SAT3-64G

Pros: Very noticeable performance improvement. Fairly simple to install.

Cons: Requires a bit of operating system knowledge and setup work to get the most out of the SSD. (Not OCZ's fault though!)

Overall Review: I went with a smaller size to cut down on cost. The disadvantage of this is that I only have space for the OS and a few core programs, rather than everything. However, it still makes a huge difference in performance.
