Well made
Pros: The motherboard worked flawlessly and as expected from the beginning which is really important when building. I received the rev 3.3 version of the board. Was able to overclock Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 from 1.8Ghz to 2.16Ghz (I did not need to go higher), temperature increased by 3C. When overclocking, hold the memory speed steady by twiddling the DRAM:CPU multiplier or buy higher speed memory.
Cons: The software utilities from Gigabyte. The only useful ones are @BIOS (could flash successfully) and SATA RAID driver. Recovery express is ok. Easytune, iCool, Norton Internet Security are not useful.
Overall Review: Creating a recovery partition (HPA) takes 1-2 hours.
Poorly manufactured headset - qualty problems
Pros: Good design.
Cons: The headset I received hummed and clicked while in operation and after a few minutes heated up noticably. LG used to make good headsets, but it looks like this one is manufactured poorly.
Pros: Easy install. The many wires fold nicely. I like the passive circuitry (less chance for failure). All wires and connectors are clearly labeled. It has Azalia and AC97 connectors (Azalia is better).
Cons: The IEEE1394 connectors are individual pins. It will be nice to provide an adaptor that converts to a standard connector.
Works fine
Pros: It works and is cheap. Has a port on the board that can cable to front panel. Comes with Ulead 5.0 which is a pretty decent video editor (has good mpeg compression).
Cons: None.
Works well
Pros: Good value product. It makes a great difference for the user experience. I would never go back to integrated graphics
Cons: None
Overall Review: I am not a gamer, so my requirements are not too stringent.
